  6. i to have met Patric personally, i really wouldn't of thought all this was him, such a nice helpful guy, and i also went to his premisis and purchased excellent condition parts for cheap, got the mint-est r32 seat ive ever seen for $20.
  7. thought that turbo setup looked familiar. damn you josh !!
  8. i gave a set of front hubs to a mate for free. pm redsuns (see if he still needs them)
  9. yeah man the sphincter of the universes FTMFW !!! on another note, went halfs in a welder (mig/stick/tig) and started making dump pipe old welder... RIP you heap of shit
  10. most likely be a high tensile steel, which is a flamin mongrel to drill or cut. try find a 1mm high speed bit made by sutton or p&n, should go through it easy enough. and make sure your drill bit is installed in the chuck properly. make sure its clamped on the smooth surface. rookie error seen many a bits snap incorrectly installed in the chuck.
  11. fim using a r33 rack and lines. however the hicas ecu would control the solenoids so if you earth the solenoid out it will stay open, however that may cause the solenoid to burn out over time. depends on your setup mate, for most r32's you'd leave the ecu in.
  12. wtf are you talking about? i meant hicas lockout / deletion setup.
  13. what setup you running thoe?
  14. dont need it, if you do away with pump / solinoid. no hicas electronics left in my 32
  15. custom maybe, highmount no the dump would then be pointing at the bonnet. if a rb30 turbo manifold fits a rb25 thats what it would of been mounted on. thanks for help, its on now, and im gona mod the dump on the weekend. factory lines fit, just needed the braided oil line. the first time the rear housing didnt spin, but a whack with a rubber mallet fixed that.
  16. oh yeah and thank you very much everyone for your help. dave
  17. im gona mod the dump myself. but ill try rotating it all. i knew you could rotate it but i was looking at the dump all the time going wtf !!!. but ill see how i go and then hopefully be able to mod the dump. as i said this came off a R33 so i have no idea how the dump pipe worked out?
  18. forgot to mention, came off a R33.
  19. give me till my next project saw it done in i think SA.
  20. Hey, got a highflow vl turb with t3 or t4 cartridge and some kind of modified rear housing. i ran into dramas dummy fitting. ill let pictures explain. as you can see straight up we have an issue with the dump pipe off on an angle due to the vl turbo mounted horizontal instead of vertical. now im wondering without making a new dump or modifying the dump can i get it to fit properly. as you can see if i hold it like so all the oil / water lines will line up, but if i modify the dump and bolt it straight up the oil return is horizontal not vertical. any ideas... its asif i need to make some kind of t3-t3 90deg piece or if a rb30 turbo manifold would fit im not sure on stud pattern. any suggestions would be kool, otherwise ill whack the stocker back on. thanks, dave
  21. the lip of the trailer guard will sit on top of the inner lip of the over fender, then it should be seam sealed. there is no way the foam should chip away if done properly. it should be completely sealed.
  22. another easier option is. 1. put the lock bar in. 2. buy a rb25 steering pump or remove the tabs in the rb20 and block the rear of the pump with the hicas lock bar accessories. 3. remove all the hicas lines and solinoid that are no longer attached or in use and hurl them as far as u can. 4. tap a grub screw into the power steering res where a line will be removed from step 3. 5. and f**koff the hicas ecu. took about 1hr in a mates 180sx and has not had a single drama.
  23. hey mate, i got 33 lca on my 32. fits and uses the same bushing. they are slightly longer then the 32 items, gives wider track and you can get some epic lock. mind you i have removed bump stops and added lock spacers, not fully dialed in yet. and i have no clearance issues with a 17x9.5 see all fits fine: and some lock shots. ps: ignore my unfinished body work
