  1. ^^^ yes, unless one is in-line or behind the actual dash speedo. and tas, yes i do deal with lights and fittings on a day to day basis, mainly cheaper fittings, cause majority of people cannot justify spending big $$$ on light fittings, could also say the same about gauges.
  2. oh ps: Dan_B i got a copy of NWD 8 (new world disorder 8) if u want a copy?
  3. sorry fellow sau readers, i dont have a performance business so i don't no anything. many apologies. ps: defi style = is pretty much the blacked out screen look.
  4. yeah that 1 wire goes to the control box, but u need power to that box and all the sensor wires, so its probably the same in the end.
  5. You do realise Autometer and Autogauge are owned and made by the same people in the US "Autometer" Just happens to have a huge range of gauges no matter your budget.
  6. prob 10-12psi would sit nice, depends do u want an excuse for a new turb? Its just trial and error with the t-pieces, start low and wind you way up and use the gauge to tell you were u sit.
  7. autogauge has been in the game for a long time. and there not cheap shit. when you say more wiring and more hassle, doesn't sound like you'v had much to do with this series of gauge, they make shit very easy, it'd be less wiring then the defi's considering they need that control box. autogauge consist of getting power to 1 gauge and then it loops in and out through plug in wiring harness, then all you need is the sensor and the wire going to the sensor, i don't see how that's more hassle ???
  8. okay noobs. Electrical is far better then a mechanical boost gauge. And no electrical doesn't mean that the gauge lights up its to do with the sender. defari if you go with tristans sugestion and order a autogauge electronic boost gauge you'll be more than happy and we should be able to work you out a good price 10% discount on rrp. the gauge im referring you to is: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=400&page=1 270 stepper motor = type of motor, with 270 degrees motion peak recall = this recalls the max boost you hit during a drive, great for tuning you t-piece. bang for buck you cannot go wrong, but if you have loads of cash by all means get defi's.
  9. send the bill to the family who probably lost a loved one while that ambulance tried to get there. give me a break, cmon josh your better then that.

  16. hey if anyone is interested in the group buy i started????? Sparco seats
  17. Hey everyone, Starting - 1 week EOI, if i get enough interests (5) i will then set out 1 week for payment then its up to the supplier to get the seats in. So estimated time would at least 2 weeks. Im starting this group buy as an EOI, i ony need 5 interests then i can confirm the prices with the supplier. Im not out to make money on this group buy i just want to help out fellow SAU'ers and of course get a seat for myself at discounted rate . The seat in interest is the sparco sprint v. However i will esquire if other seats can be discounted. As this is only EOI at the moment i cannot get a finalized price but i only need 5 interests to get confirmation. When this goup buy goes ahead i will setup a bank account dedicated to this trade so things will not get mixed up and go missing. Im full aware of people being scared of being scammed over the internet, as i have myself been scammed before i promise you i will not f**k you around. BELLOW ARE THE DETAILS. - The most important new addition to this race seat are the fastenings for the side attachments have been applied to the tubular frame, allowing better positioning on the shell. - The completely renewed style has been enhanced with visible quilting, contrasting with the basic fabric and also has facilities for a 5 or 6 point harness. - FIA / ADR Approved but will require a modplate ( i can recommend somone on purchase) - The retail price is $499-$500, since these will be bought in quantities the price will be lower but i do need 5 interests to confirm a price. - The company supplying these seats is Opposite Lock in Brisbane - The products can be collected from me as i will probably go collect them all, as this is my first goup buy im not keen on postage, but im sure if you ask nicely i could get some courier prices. - This group buy does not include a rail, you will have to source a suitable rail from elsewhere. - The seat comes in three colours - RED | BLUE | BLACK all three have white stitching. PEOPLE OF INTEREST. 1. 32_Dave (black) 2. 3. 4. 5.
