  1. Well, you are in effect buying a GTR, so don't feel so hard done by paying $60k
  2. Yeah, as you're unsure what you're doing with being towed by another car, i'd say best you pay the $50, rather than some $2000 for repairs if something goes wrong. Amaru would reccomend Quikeze towing, they've done a few jobs for him, and have been really good each time.
  3. If you let them use it as a test car, they bascially write it off. Testing side intrusion and so forth. So in reality, you need to import two 260RS'. Not really worth it, let some rich schmuck do it
  4. Exactly. Fit them in or on the car how you can, and if someone has a problem with it, well, look into fixing it then, but til then, live it up with bent/cut/whatever plates. I know it's not right, but as i said, it's better than having no plates on the car at all. And unless you get someone who is trying to enforce the law down to the letter, you're usually pretty okay with them as long as they are on the front, and back, and pretty visible.
  5. Bah, now i want one! Anyone want a slightly used Black Series II?
  6. Kinda yes....but what would they prefer? no plates at all? When i get around to ordering a plastic replacement for my tin ones, i'll whip up a bracket to side mount it. Give more flow to what's left of my intercooler, and looks good too Brake ducting...who needs brake ducting...i've got a great big stainless pipe there for the intercooler anyway
  7. They look a bit funny when they're stock height, wagon height But with some nice wheels and some suspension work, and the usual RB mods, you've got a sweet ass car that's a bit different
  8. No, there are. Besides, it may be from before SEVS. The normal Stagea is called the RS Four by the way. Jay, i've also seen this Wine Red example around Tuggeranong, i got so excited about it, mum didn't quite understand why.
  9. Side mount it. Also, some places make a bracket which brings the number plate out past the front of the bar. I've still got tin plates, so i just cut the tin plate shorter so it fits in the bar.
  10. I like just plain old standard issue plates, re-made in Black plastic. Look good
  11. Yeah, i just got up Besides, i'm not driving my car to work, or anywhere at the moment.
  12. I work until Midnight every night. Except tonight...so Monday next week i am free, then after that, who knows. Just organise a night, a place and a time, and those that can make it, will.
  13. Putting along in my daily driver Even if i waved you wouldn't have seen me.
  14. Shell in Tuggeranong at around 1:45pm.
  15. Mr. "Boost along straights but brake through corners"?
  16. Boo yeah! And no late night drives home
  17. With those mods, i'd say you'll be fine mate. Just make sure all the things for compliance were done. Take the compliancing paperwork with you if they query it. But yeah, just a cat back, should be no problems. Good luck
  18. Well, i'll get in first and say Ed at Integra Automotive at the Servo as you head towards Queanbeyan from the Monaro Hwy. You know where i mean? He installed my HKS Front Mount kit and Blitz EBC, no problems, awesome job.
  19. Yay! Finally a damage pic! Thanks Abo Bob
  20. Mr. Wombat had passed on before we arrived.
  21. The story of HKS Type-S meets Mr. Wombat is best explained in picture form. I think everyone snapped a picture of the end result.
  22. Side of the road isn't a problem, and Kangaroos are my best friend. Wombats in the middle of the road...well, not good.
  23. The whole...wildlife thing...was a bit of an issue. All good.
  24. Yeah, pics pics pics...need entertainment at work.
