  5. Boo yeah, BBQ time
  6. Oh okay, looks interesting. Might see what i'm up to...depends on how late i am Friday night.
  7. Ooooh, sounds cool, where is this? How far away?
  8. I live down south, Gordon to be precise, and i have no problems at all leaving my car outside some nights. Most it's in the garage, but sometimes i can't be arsed, so it sleeps out in the frost. That's all i hate about it, the ice in the mornings. Car's got some security hardware, and i am fully insured for more than the price of the car, so in the event of the worse happening... well, lets not talk of it.
  9. Nice, sound tough. Well, if anyones going to go, i'll chill there for a bit and see who turns up.
  10. Great, good to know there's some interest in this! These next few weekends are chockers for me with birthdays and going away parties, but i'd love to sort something out soon.
  11. Okay, sweet. I been wasting 3 years of money on cars, and i don't see myself stopping any time soon
  12. Yeah, mostly, we're both pretty silly when in convoy
  13. Couple of years?! Nah, just bring what you drive now, the more the merrier. BBQ at the cotter you say, i like it. Good drive too.
  14. I had some success with Spybot Search and Destroy. I now run no blocking software, and just watch out what sites i visit. Also i run a hardware firewall...so that's saved me some grief.
  15. Hey all. The ACT Skyline Scene, while good, is not as active as i think it could be. I'd like to get a bit of an idea as to what you guys would like to do, what sort of things you're into, so that myself and others may better organise events in the future. What i was thinking, was along the lines of not just driving events such as attending track days as a group and cruises, but more social events such as coffees, beers, pizzas, etc. So if anyone has ideas, thoughts on this, please feel free to post them. Not just Skylne drivers either, potential owners, young and old, all is welcome, we're not just a group of people who own some of Nissan's finest, we're a group of people who appreciate Japanese cars and the car scene in general. Okay, i've had me speel, let's see some posts in here. THanks guys.
  16. Yeah, i order my oil and filters through Just Jap, great service and a good price on the oil. Speaking of, it's about time to order another round of Motul goodness i think.
  17. Yeah, if you're heading across Commonwealth Avenue towards parliament house, the left turn that goes down just before the bridge is the one.
  18. Shall we say...9pm onwards at Regatta Point? Who's interested?
  19. Sure thing man, Amaru and I are out every weekend tearing it up around the place. 0402 902 051 if you want to find us one friday/saturday night. But hows about Friday night we get another meet on down at Regatta Point? Had a good turnout last time guys.
  20. There's a one time answer, and that is, don't speed. Or if you must, never around a blind corner, or over a hill
  21. Try Pat's Tyres in Mitchell, they seem pretty good. Next round of tyres i get i'm goin to try Forenza, on the reccomendation of another Skyline owner. I run Falken ST115s now, and they were good, but have only lasted 9 months.
  22. Yeah, that's the colour Shell. Definitely unique, almost as cool as the Deep Marine Blue on YES-12Z and GTR-700.
  23. oh, i missed that post...Saturday right...i was heading....to meet Amaru to head out to check the Dutton Rally action. Car may look clean from afar, but just sitting in the garage covers it in dust/dirt.
  24. White 32 was Amaru, the R33 was really nice looking, it left not long after we arrived. I was bang kickin' it in my sisters car, otherwise it would have been mucho Skyline paradiso! THere was a white R33 there as well EDIT: Oh yeah, it wasn't wine red actually, it was RED RED, the rare colour, and it was a Series II! Wah! :headspin:
  25. It's all in the spring rates, etc. I run 18"s but the Cusco Coilivers make sure you feel even a painted white line on the road.
