  5. Hell yeah, i'm down for something
  6. How about securing your subs/speakers/gauges with allen(sp?) key bolts instead of regular nuts and stuff.
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...40&pagenumber=1 I found this thread really helpful, especially Sydneykid's advice.
  8. Damn, gonna be a HUGE weekend. Think i'll go out of state instead.
  9. It's not only the engine components that need updating when Turboing an N/A. Brakes are also vital in the transfer. It 'may' work out cheaper to bolt in a already Turbo engine, rather than get everything needed for the build. You'd need to research the prices for Turbo manifolds, Turbo, piping, intercooler, probablt decompression plate.
  10. If it's in good condition, and working perfectly, i'm very interested. If you'll COD to Canberra, PM me.
  11. It's the sound of the excess air coming back through the piping, being chopped by the turbo as it goes the wrong way, and you can hear it out the pod filter. Often called fluttering.
  12. Hopefully i've recovered enough to drive this weekend. If i'm out, i'll either have Corolla or Skyline...can't decide at this point. See ya's

  18. Wow, that turned out awesome, nice job. Hope you've got your licence back now so you can enjoy it.
  19. Yay! Congrats on the sale
  20. Yeah i am, Gordon actually.
  21. Still have my first car. http://www.syndicatemotorsports.org/cars/corolla.html for some pics
  22. I think what Duncan is after, is a list of some threads you think may be relevant for this new DIY section you are proposing.
  23. I like that idea! What size is the Clock section?
  24. In my line of work, i am typing for seven and a half hours straight, for government departments and private sector clients also, and i have to be correct, and fast. If not, i get my ass handed to me. So i find that now when typing anything, from forums to instant messages, my grammar, and spelling are almost perfect. Compared to "type it out as fast as i can, who cares if it's right", where i was before i started working here. But as others have noted above, as long as it is semi-coherent, and not just a mish-mash of letters, it's all good to me
  25. I've got a 5min video of that Drift Extreme show. http://www.woland.com/draft.wmv
