  3. I got mine done by a tyre shop, they used Nissan genuine as the aftermarket ones listed for the R32 are about 1mm too big, (the Nissan ones actually worked out cheaper before delivery was added) the job looks really easy, just hit the dud out and hit the new one in
  4. Spotted a white R33 4door at kambah village this afternoon, had a hidden front mount and nice wheels
  5. good to hear you got it sorted easily and most importantly cheaply
  6. spotted last night, about 12ish, a black Australian delivered R32 GTR, overtook me on cotter road then followed me along streeton drive, with very bouncy suspension
  7. thanks a lot for all your time and help Mega, much appreciated, i think it ill have to try and get my hands on another unit sometime early next week and fingers crossed all my problems will disappear
  8. thanks for the reply, i already tried the things you suggested, but none of them fixed the hunting, although when i disconnected the AAC valve (plug) it kept hunting, ill have to find another one to try i guess
  9. Hi all, i have an R32 GTSt thats hunting at idle, i took it to a shop and after an hour we traced it to a faulty AACvalve/IAA unit, we swapped mine with a known working one and it fixed the problem, so i tried cleaning mine (fair bit of carbon build up), which didnt fix the problem, so i bought a second hand one form a wrecker, installed it, and the problem was still there, i then reset the ecu as i thought maybe it was "ignoring" the faulty sensor, but this didnt work, i then adjusted the idle to about 2 grand and the "high revs" part of the cycle went for longer, but stilled dropped and fluctuated, My question is, has anyone had a similar problem and how was it fixed, or does anyone have a suggestion as to what it could be? or is it possible that i was sent a dud IAA? cheers
  10. if my cars running properly and im not working i should be there
  11. take it back to where you got the battery, they usually have a fairly long warranty these days, they should be able to look at it for free and if the battery is faulty it falls under warranty, but if they tell you its the alternator, take it to the worshop/auto sparkie of your choice, hopefully for you its the battery as new alternators are $1200+ retail
  12. http://www.powerlink.co.nz/%7Egraeme/faq/index.html about half way down the left hand column is the heading "simple low cost modification" and describes how to do it
  13. spotted a black R32 with chrome door handle (drivers) on William Hovell drive about 1650ish this afternoon

  16. looked a bit trippy to me, i thought he had locked up the two wheels i could see, but then i figured out what they were, guess im still not used to spinners
  17. Its very easy, just make sure that the car is on a flat level surface, if the car is on a slope and the left wheel is higher, the brace may "pull" the towers out of alignment

  23. i bought my shocks from capital steering and suspension in Fyshwick, they seem pretty good, have heard lots of good stories about inline steering in Queanbeyan, i spose the best thing to say is to talk to them both and see who you like better (pricing/parts etc...)
  24. the paints still there, only on one of the windows for the camera, but i was talking with a bloke who's job it is to look after the software and hardware inside them and he said itll still work due to different lenses being for different purposes (day/night etc...)
