  2. Amaru, sounds good, although there might be a better turnout the following weekend?

  4. Saw an R34 4 door last night, passed me in the tunnel on parkes way, under the ANU, about ten to ten
  5. theres also three screws along the bottom of the door trim
  6. Try Power International in Mitchell, up the alley from Skyline Performance and next to Gentech Performance
  7. try your local bodykit shop
  8. hi guys, I am looking for a Gold GT Badge for my front quarter panel, as mine was stolen today, I have never seen one of these on any other 32, so I doubt ill have any luck, but i think its worth a shot Cheers in advance
  9. Spotted today and yesterday, wine red R33 GTST, big FMIC, aftermarket wheels (i think?) and lowered at the front of drill hall gallery at ANU, about 10 to 7 both days, I was in the black 32
  10. good way to sell your car though
  11. my visor is the same its a "sun sensor" for the climate control
  12. try leaving the car on "reds" for a few seconds to let the fuel pump build up pressure in the lines, then try starting it
  13. my opinion, dont get a real "flashy" (eg skyline) car for your first,, i had my first car written off (i wasnt at fault) and my second car was pretty close to written off, then i got my Skyline, this was after 18 or so months of having my P's, cos i was still learning to drive, (still am really)
  14. well thats the choice you make when decide to restore a car, some of us prefer to start with a car that doesnt require $10g plus worth of body work to make it look half of what it originally was, why cant you respect us and our choices as most of us respect you and your choices?
  15. Who cares how many skylines were in the top 60 at the 'nats? its a traditionally streetmachine/hotrod show. Also, regarding your original comment, thats your opinion and you are entitled to it, myself i can appreciate the hard work that has gone into a street machine/hot rod style car, why cant you appreciate the hard work and effort we put into our skylines?
  16. i bought a "one man bleeder" from autopro, cost less than $20 very simple and easy to use, also helped me "recycle" the fluid when pushing the piston back in to make the pads fit.
  17. Ill be out along lonsdale st somewhere, Dukie, you should probably fix that light if ur planning on taking ur 'line, cops'll be defecting like crazy
  18. I saw it too down at Batemans Bay on saturday, i was in a Black R32
  19. for an R32, theres two clips at the front of the seat part, in the middle of the two seat sections, they should just pull up then the back should slide out with some jiggling, then the back has two screws at the bottom at the sides, once these are out (or you can just loosen them) the top of the back should slide up and out (theres three hooks that the seat back hooks onto) installation is the reverse
  20. yeah lonsdale st Braddon is usually a good place to go to see some tough cars
  21. another idea (youve probably already thought of it tho...) is to just connect another wire to the +ve to the external brake light, then connect this to the fog light +ve, of course after ensuring the +ve to the fog light is definitley broken
  22. i know yur asking for advice and all, but if you do go ahead with this, could you post some pics and a process list of how its done? ive been thinking of making fibreglass enclosures for some gauges but dun really know the best way to go about, cheers
  23. ill be there
  24. when i did mine over a year ago, i just lightly sanded the plastic parts, then used flexi prime, scuffed that abit, then painted the parts using cans of touch up paint from supacheap, cant remember what grit the sandpaper was, but it was a fine grade. after a year, mine looks really good still, the primer was about 20 bucks for a big can, and the paint was about six dollars for the smaller cans (they didnt have big cans in the colour that i wanted) and all this was bought at supacheap in the one aisle
  25. i bought an O2 Rush pod for mine, i got it secondhand (2mnths use) from a bloke who had it on his R33, he said something about a custom adaptor from the filter to the AFM, not too sure what it was he said exactly, but it fits perfectly onto the AFM, maybe a locally sold Nissan has the same flange from the airbox to the AFM, so you might be able to get a pod for a local Nissan and put it on your R32
