Hi. I have just got my self a 97 Skyline GTS-T from Japan. But I do have a problem that I can no figure out, it does not seem to have its 250bhp. But rather a maximum of 190 - 200bhp. No, I have not dynoed it yet, but I have driven sevral skylines and similar turbo cars. And it did not help to seeing my 150bhp Turbo Colt pull away from it easely. So something is wrong, here is what I know; The boostgauge peaks at 0.7 BAR, and it is very stable, so I guess it can not be the turbo. I have also checked the turbine, it is nice and tight. The enigne also runs very smooth, and it does not feel faulty at all untill it reaches higher revs. It is not much at all, but a slight "bump" or similar (Like it wants to do more). I did not feel it until I had driven the car for sevral hours. It is all original except for a few things; Open apexi airfilter, apexi dumpvalve and AFC (Air flow converter). After reading a bit on this forum I was thinking the "bump" was a misfire, but it is not that big at all, and it is still climbing revs all the way to the limit at 0.7bar. The car does not even spin on wet in 2nd gear!!. Sorry for my bad english and strange problem. I might get it dynoed soon but I wanted to ask here first.
