    bass junky nailed it for you mate, your amp quite simply draws too much current from the battery at one particular moment, and the battery can't give the amp the current it needs at that one particular moment, which results in the amp going into safety mode and your bass cutting out.... i would recommend getting a capacitor as well as they stop yours amp cutting out by supplying a constant power to the amp
