  1. Unbelivable. How bout checking the direction of tyre tread before heading onto the track. This guy was a bit of a hot head, went out twice in first corner (that I have seen) luckly not hitting anyone. Was a good day for me in terms of number of cars at the track and continuous running. I even had to have cool of laps to get oil temp down. Considering that everyone asks for a photos I may too This car in higher res?
  2. Yeh been a month since Cowboys last reply. Whats going on, idea binned or may happen?
  3. Hi all, iam selling my SSS which I have for more than 4 years and thats without any mechanical problems. Iam very much into cars and mechanically skilled so I did some mods mostly to go faster around corners (ie suspension), then car also has much better brakes and had CAI. Now car is back to stock power, less noisy and is less corner friendly. Still if u interested buying with parts I had ok kool I put them back for u, or actually u put them back SSS is proven old school hot hatch which can with only minimal mods follow or be faster around racetrack than new atmo hatches like Civic Type R or Clio F1, also basic Skylines etc. Bit more of modding and it is real pocket rocket. These atmo SR20DE engine are very reliable and with simple and legal mods are realy capable to be in 14s with strong torque all over the rev range (had one SSS b4 this one so i know what iam talking about). Also fuel consumption is minimal because it is a light car with efficient engine. So i know this may not be SAU type of vehicle (hi power n RWD) but they can be realy fast in gear also in corners with either neutral or oversteer driving which after owning SVD Skyline does for me Also that atmo SR has 1 of the best engine notes. Its atmo so cheap to insure, spend saved money in track days rather than hooning in boosted car around public roads Iam selling it because it is the time after 5 years of owning them. 1998 Nissan Pulsar SSS (Series 2) - Melbourne S/E Second owner, blue paint in very good condition (waxed, hand washed etc) has front lip. Clean and standard interior. 152,000km, always doing 5-6000km service (or just b4 going to racetrack, probably done about 6-8 track days) with syn oils like Red Line, Amsoil, Motul, Royal Purple. Gearbox box oil is synthetic Motul, power steering Amsoil full syn fluid - new front shocks/springs ($500) was about to do rear too but came up to sale point - alarm - improved ignition - new battery - Alpine split speakers (front) - etc. (as i said iam into cars n everything that may be dropping in performance gets replaced or serviced) - RWC, rego expires in 4 months Price, regular price for SSS of these conditions n kays $8200 (roughly comparing to bare stock car there is up to $2000 worth of mods and expensive replacement parts) Interested, have questions? PM me or write here Thanks
  4. I was there too, but only for last few sessions (had to party night b4). Was ok day, plenty of cars but also anoying yellow n red lights. Happy with restart of the last session. Managed to pull some clean laps n hit my PB speed in fast sweeper. As someone mentioned I also had problems with brake pads being too hot for disks so after 3 laps would start to wrap em so after 1st session i never used em as hard as they can go. Ah yeh i drive blue N15 Pulsar SSS, n i think i was parked next to some SAU guys. To b honest lacking sleep n being late i didn't pay much attention, just went with the bussines Hume Hwy needs resurfacing badly
  5. Soz 4 bit late reply. I seen u in second last drivers session, but u were on other side of track so no chance to chatch up. Thing is, we were coming straight onto track so we couldn't really check up the group. Who was drivin white R33 without front bar? Iam wondering what power it had cos we were pretty even on straights, then he would chatch up under brakes and again me faster in corners
  6. Yeh I had good time, usual strugle with soft suspension n bad brakes O yeh i was even lacking some power Blue N15 Pulsar SSS
  7. I'll be there. Have to finish off front pads
  8. In what area? As far as I know all BP petrol stations have 'em.
  9. Thanks for explaining usuall day progress Roman. I think its good fun... only thing is as philmak says, remembering the way around cones hehe I will most likely miss this DECA but some of the future ones id like to do.
