Just realised i've never even had the floor mats in my stag. I took them out and cleaned then when i first got it but never put them back in, only the drivers one. Much chance on selling them? If so how much are people usually willing to pay..

Had a dyno gathering in town here tonight. Wanted to see what the stag did before i start doing any major mods. So far its just fmic and 3" exhaust turbo back with an apexi pod. rs4 s2 auto Got 186.2 was pretty happy with that. Leaving there i raced my mate in his vz ss ute which got 280 and it was pretty even. I think i started pulling away but had to brake. Dunno how that works, power/weight ratio should have been way in his advantage anyway, couple of vids. the first one is just a short one second vid is longer and better quality of all 3 power runs. Note at 1:38 some smartass in the crowd behind me says 'not bad for a volvo' and a pic of the readout.. Sounded so good up in the rev range screaming along

Thanks for that Gary Priced up some HSD ones today, bout 1600.. I think I might hold out for a bit and just buy the proper ones to suit the wagon. It's auto btw, just for interests sake the front set I just got out of my mates R34GTST 4 door wont fit then? It was factory auto if that makes any difference. Just got my new wheels on and I'm super keen to see them sitting in the guards now

Similar problem to above, been searching this thread for a while, can't find the answer im after. Or maybe im just too tired and not paying enough attention. Got a set of GAB coilovers off a mates r34 four door, just the fronts.. what type of coilovers do i need to fit in the rear? It's a series 2 rs4 Sorry if this has been answered 100 times..

Kinda in gympie actually.. haha. Shouldnt be any leaks nah, ill double check it all tomorrow though. I was just told by a mate he had the same problem till he changed it to plumb back. Maybe where ive blocked it is leaking slightly.. could have been the problem with his also till he changed it back. Will have a closer look tomorrow, cheers.

Im near brisbane Kiwi. I got it all sorted out, everything works fine except it likes stalling when i tap the throttle. Im guessing this is because ive just blocked off the pre existing plumb back pipe and not connected it to the new bov? any way around it? Took it for a test run then up the highway through town and the girl in the landcruiser beside me found it hilarious that i stalled the auto twice trying to take off. She actually slowed down while laughing..

Thanks jez. Pretty much got it all done, have neatly cut out the front bar to fit around it. Just gotta get a bit of hose to run down to the bov and block off that vacuum line. The boost sensor hose was also fitted in there too, is there an easy spot to re locate that or should i just tap a thread into the new piping and run it where it was originally? but yeah, im done with this swine flu.. medication, beer and bed for me. thanks guys, its been a productive day

You can see on the right where the bov is now, hks ss. Not bad considering my mate gave the whole lot to me for $250.

It has a bov on the new pipework, so thats no drama i just want to know how to disconnect that one and do away with it all Theres a line that runs down to behind the pod intake.. and a line off that one that goes up to what i think is maybe a solenoid or something with another line that runs down to the waste gate?

Ahh k, so just rip it all off and blank off where it goes into the inlet before the turbo?

Got the cooler and pipework off a mates r34 skyline, so i figured it would be a pretty straight forward swap but just wondering what this is in the pipe coming off the manifold. Is it something to do with the dual stage boost? first two pics show what im talking about, 3rd pic is the pipe that will be in its place. Which has nothing on it to transfer it over..

Keys arent programmed on 34's, the keyhead just has the electronic keyless entry side of it in there. First think i did when i got my stag was test that.. checked for frequency output.. nothing there. Got a blank key cut and it started it fine. crisis diverted. Luckily my mate is on racq today, he came round.. 30 seconds he had the door open. And in about 3 mins i had the door fab off and the door lock out. Walked into a locksmith with the number stamped on the back of the lock and asked for a few keys. Bingo. Which makes me a tad scared about the security of my wagon. Well that thought followed the first initial few thoughts of 'hmm, i know of a few stageas garaged around here' haha.

Everyone loses their keys, me more so than others. So i had some spares cut last week, planned on putting one at home and one hidden under the car somewhere. Anyway, didnt quite get around to it. Left my keys in a cab last night.. cab company has no record of the cab that picked me up. I do live in a small town though, so im in the process of trying to find the guy. (its the only camry taxi around with mags on it) but anyway, if worst comes to worst i can wire up a new ignition switch and everything, that side doesnt worry me. Its the door locks and remote keyless thats gunna be a pain in the ass if my keys don't turn up. Anyone else ever lost every key to their car? Can locksmiths do anything?

Bahahaha giggity. And nah, no action with the bosses wife. I work for my mates parents, known him since grade 5, was a best man at his wedding.. needless to say his folks are a bit aged haha. Was gunna charge up a capacitor and leave it beside her computer mouse.. My old man got someone good when he was my age, one of his workmates always pinched his tools but locked his own toolbox. So one night he drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the back of his toolbox, threaded in a grease nipple and pumped about 5 tubes into it. although he got dad back by getting a small grinder and carefully grinding all the numbers off his combination padlock on his toolbox. Found out at 3am one morning on an important call out job haha. hmm, think i might just give it a break for a while.. plan something big and let them have it on april fools. Like i dunno, dress up as a terrorist, get there early, hide in the office and take them all hostage till about smoko time. Then ask where my damn coffee is.

haha, i had a go at that today! but stupid fwd, with belly plates.. cant get at anything easily and quickly. a square of electrical tape over the laser on her mouse had her stumped for a while.
