Hello people For sale is a A1-C monster tacho with shift light. all wiring is labeled for easy install. Has a switch and a dimmer for blue or green background colour but the shift light is permenant red. Honda CBR250RR 1991 model Has done 48,183kms with service every 5000 kms with receipts since i brought it in August 2004 with 31,353kms on the clock. Is regestered till 28/7/06. Will supply RWC unpon sale. It was complied in september 1998. Has near new back tire on the back with brand new mirrors and foot pegs, Recent front and rear wheelbearings, neck bearings, chain and sprockets. all brake pads done about 6 months ago. I have reciepts for every dollar ever spent. Comes with R-JAYS all wheather jacket, HJC Helmet, disc lock with spring reminder and a gear sack and rack. Both jacket and helmet are red and black to match the bike aswel as the gear sack. Bike has a polished frame and rear swing arm and a custom red see through viser. Bike is in excellent condition and would be perfect for learner or enthusist. I will have more pics up tomorrow for you. OOOHHHHH ok old tech i c. I am in the process of learning all about turbos and specs and old and nes and 360 degree thrust bearings all all the mumble jumble about them. 3" Inlet Diameter : 2" outlet : Wet Floating Bearings : 1/8 NPT oil inlet T3 Flange : Fits T3 and T3/T4 Manifolds Specs: . 50 a/r compressor .63 a/r turbine .57 trim Turbine wheel: Exducer: 2.48" Mayor : 2.89" Compressor wheel : Exducer: 2.07" Mayor : 2.36" If any one has the time or patience to explain to me wat all the above means that would be awsome. hey fellas, am buying a silvertop rb20det for a 31, now import spares in SA want $2200 for complete conversion kit (motor,box,loom,ecu,turbo, etc) delivered here to brisbane. should i just wait and c if i can buy one privite or wat? IS THAT A RIP OFF????????????? cheers

Hey guys, i am currently putting an rb20 silver top into my 87 r31 gt import (orignal motor was an rb20 red tops nics). I just have some questions that i need answered please..... 1. how will i wire the standard tacho to the new computer? 2.i have ABS, will this be affected 3. will the vechile wiring (eg. starter motor, alternator etc) be the same to hook up to the new rb20? Aso i brought the motor from a wreckers and it is fairly clean and looked after but i am just wondering wat u should do to a motor from a wreckers (eg. give major service test injectors and coil packs etc)??? Wat oil and coolant do u guys run in your motors? Thanks Dan

Hello people, I live in brisbane and i am chasing an RB25det with manual gearbox and loom, no computer as i am getting a power fc. i have rung 9 different import wrecker and all have nothing :matrix: so i figure what better place then NSW to find one. So i am asking if anyone could give me some numbers of wreckers down there that they may have had some experience with. Just so im clear i am NOT after an R33 front cut as that is a waste of money for me (to many un-used parts), i just want a complete rb25det with manual box and uncut loom!!!!!!!1 how much could i expect to pay for this up here if they ever have any it is about $2800 - $3000 thanks for any replys Dan

I had a friend give me a cd with non stop vids from full boost with a few r31's on there, one r31 had an RB25 with a gt2535 and many other mods and got 358rwkw. so i got to thinking, and decided that for around the same price as an r32 front cut i can get a rb25 motor, loom and ecu. so the plans have changed and a couple more questions for u guys. 1: i know the 25 gearbox is longer the mine so tail shaft length will be a problem, does anyone know a rough price to get one made up? and will the 25 box fit in the tunnel with no mods? 2: how will my diff hold up to an RB25 with say around 250kw??? 3: any mods needed to be done to the engine mounts for th 25??? thanks guys Dan -

thanks for the replys guys. just to sum up a few questions, my skyline is a manual but i want to put in an r32 box that i get with the front cut as mine has done 197 k's and second gear is being stupid. so i asume that my tailshaft will be a good fit, fingers crossed. I will read the RB20 250kw thread tonight, if i get time, Cheers for that. I pulled the air con out 2 years ago to make way for a front mount that was never fitted (dont ask me why, just lazy i guess). so no wire splicing needed there. Qustion: do u have to get a bracket made up for the power steering pump????? Question: will i get brakes with the r32 front cut??? Question : with the tacho, oil pressure, temp, and stuff like that, will that all still work with the new motor?????? i know i have to use the 32 wiring harness and comp, just no quite sure how the dash components and that works, if someone could shed a little light on this for me that would be great. :-) Question: If i change all the brakes over (rotors, calipers, stc) will i have to change the booster and master cylinder as well?????? cheers mate. hopefully all goes well. will keep the convert posted as it prgresses. i would like to know some more about turbo upgrades for the rb20 with about a $2500 budget for the turbo itseft. If people could let me know of there experiences or opion that would be great!!!!!! I will c if i can get some decent pics up aswell. thanks fellas and girls if there are any! Dan -
Hiya fellas, Dan here. i have an R31 import with a NICS red top rb20 turbo motor which has just snaped a timing belt and is now useless. i am now working 6 days a week to save for a R32 front cut to do a conversion into the R31. So of course i have a couple of questions and would like some answers please. Q1: will the r32 motor and gearbox fit and bolt straight into the the R31? Q2:can i use R31 tailshaft from the box to the diff without modification? Q3 to also make it legal i need r32 brakes (rotors, calapiers, etc)all round, is this an easy convet aswell? Q4:and what power can i expect from an r32 rb20 with air filter, 3inch full system exhaust, FMIC, 550cc injectors, power fc computer, heaps bigger turbo (but have to study futher), 12 psi ??????? just roughly please and any other helpfull hints and trick for this convert will be muchly appreciated. thanks guys DAN BTW: this is a photo of my 31 after the timing belt mishap.

Does anyone have any idea's for suspension for an import r31 coupe?????? it has the adjustable sus in it now, that came standard but i dont think it works anyway..... maybe just go some sports suspension or something... Dont know to much bout suspension Dan

hmmm interesting.... so all i need is r32 fronted rotor, caliper each side and 300zx rear end rotor and caliper and then i just change them over???? is the jobe easy enough to do yourself???? do u have to get approval from transport????? sorry bout all the questions but is very intresting to hear. Another question alittle while ago i went hunting for some wheels for my car but came up with only 3 or so different types of wheels that will fit due to the super large 4 stud pattern. So im thinking maybe it is possible to fit r32 brakes (5 stud) to the front end and either a whole 32 diff in the rear or just the brake set up to my diff??????? is this all possible, as there is a much much larger range of wheels for 5 stud r32 wheels. Hmmmmm i agree with u about the sus it is bloody crap. It all gets me thinking, it would be so much cheaper to just buy an R31 with an b25 in it already. That way i can spend all my money on mods!!!! they are in the trading post every now and then. OR could do the sus first, then brakes and so on, and leave the engine till last. Will take longer to do (because i will have to save money for a little while). But the convert will be mine and the way i want it done.... Decisions, decisions...... cool cool. Which would be cheaper in the long run?? to buy the motor and get some one to put it in for me (as im not experienced enough to put it in my self) OR find a place in bris that will do drive in with rb20 and a week later drive away with rb25 kinda package?????? Is there any places in brisbane that do this conversion at all????? Cheers Dan

well i made a list of questions to ask this forum, so here goes..... 1. Can i use the rb20 radiator i have now or use an rb25 one in its place? 2. Will my power steering and aircon pumps bolt straight on the the 25 block? 3. Can i still use my stock inter cooler (as i wont be able to aford a FMIC rite away) 4. Any engine mount modifaction required for fitment. 5. Any braking or suspension mods required. 6. Will i need an rb25 dump pipe or will rb20 be alrite. 7. alrite then sounds like the gearbox is sorted. so wat bout the engine and computer, is it pretty much a direct swap for the motor thats in there now EG: ecu for ecu motor for motor any major problems with this???????? i think i might sit down and think hard and write a list of things that might need to be changed and post that, and c wat people think.
