dont mean to be rude or anything mate but this thread is about melbourne tuners battle, not winton fun day so please keep any other event out of micks thread if possible anyways, gonna be a great day and cant wait my engine setup should be done in 2-3 weeks, then just get the rest of the car ready for the show few tuff cars coming, hopefully alot of you guys from here can come and show off your skylines.

HAHA yeh i know matt, but what they tried with mine was 235/40 not 235/45, they did tell me the 45 profile would fit but not the 40

so far, there are only 2 dates on the webiste 6th november 4th december hopefully it is on at least every 2nd friday, them days at calder were the best.

HEKT1K - 2 reasons to be honest, 1 is because i want to lower the car abit more, 2 because 235 tyres are alot easier to come by as i work at vw. hamish - haha funny you say that, as i work on burwood road close to tyrepower, im good mates with mickey, sami, loc. got my wheels from there also. and about the legality issue, well my car has a high mount setup on it now, and the wheels stick out the guards (18x10 +22) so i think ill be screwed over for other stuff anyway. (no this doesnt mean that i dont care about any law lol)

might be a silly question but where would you guys recommend going for stretch tyres, as i want to put 235/40 on my 18x10 wheels ( i dont think they are a major stretch?) as i know some places cant/wont do them.

decim8 - please, there is no need to put your 2 cents in my thread, im just going by what the dyno sheet said, so please do not post in my thread. wacky dee - it had the gcg turbo on 16psi, front mount cooler, 1 piece dump to cat, catco metal cat, not sure exactly on size and brand of exhaust as that was from previous owner, gfb bleeder valve isc radiator, jim berry full monty clutch, fully rebuilt gearbox, apexi pod filter, z32 afm, nistune board, tuned by trent at status and hears the dyno printout: i have another 3 printouts from when trent tuned it, 1 for torque, 1 for manifold pressure, and one compared to a hypergear on an r33 with similar mods. will get them 2moro as i have to look for them. also have dyno sheet from another workshop prior to when it got tuned/nistune/z32 and on 12psi. tufr34 - as above, and yes it is the standard been hi flowed from gcg, yes im slightly negotiable. linedup33 - jono, sorry for the late reply mate, must have just missed ur pm during lunch at work. have sent you an email also guys its best to sms me during the day if you want quick answers. regards, Baset.

just for those interested, the turbo has roughly 7000-8000km on it, and roughly 500-1000km with 269.9rwkw.

to answer your questions gibsonator, no you dont a license, no you dont need a rollcage unless u run a 10second pass, last time i went, it was $60 for as many runs as u can get in. will be attending on november, and entering in december cant wait.
