I know this is a stupid question, but my knowledge of engines etc. is pretty minimal so don't mind me asking. What exactly is a bleede valve and what exactly does it do? I alwayz hear people say it but i never know what it is... Thanks in advance tho

Hey guys .... apart from benm...anyone else shopped from www.nengun.com ? im thinking of buying a boost guage off them and just want to know if they are reliable. For the apexi boost guage they say itz liks $145 + $25 shipping cost. So that's a total of $170 right but then i read the conditions of use and they also say this: "Bank transfers also accepted; $25.00 transfer service fee will apply." WTF? so does dat mean its $170 + $25(service fee) being $195 for the apexi boost guage? Apart from that are there any other hidden fees that are associated with www.nengun.com? coz i am interested in buying off them. Anyone else got a good import/trading sight or a good forum to buy cheap stuff off?

Anyone know a cheap place to install a apexi pen turbo timer? I called my alarm place today (auto-watch) and they told me it wasnt compatitable with my current alarm and tried selling me their own "in-built" turbo timer inside their new alarm. But ive already paid for my turbo timer and am waitin for it to come. I jus want to no a cheap place that can install turbo timer. Umm does anyone know about how much it will cost me just for the installation alone? Thanks Cheers GuiLTy

Hi, i currently have a stockish r33 gts-t and am running the standard boost of 7 psi. I have an exhaust, pod as my only mod. Ummm well my question is, i was looking to buy a fmic and a avcr boost controller within the nxt few months and i am just wondering, which mod should come first? I heard that putting on a aftermarket fmic, i may actually lose boost if i dont have a boost controller so does that mean i should purchase the boost controller before i get my fmic? And also what is the maximum amount of boost i can run on a stockish gts-t? im thinking around 13psi? to 0.85 bar? Also lastly, there is nothing wrong with boostin up my car even tho my cars quite stockish, like it wont harm the car in anyway because of the added boost to the stockish engine? ummm ive actually knoticed my poppin..but its only when i like rev it to say 5-6000rpm in first gear and wen i knock it down to 2nd, it makes the pop noise.. is my problem the same as letemlaf ?

25k can either get u an R34GT (non-turbo) or a series II r33 skyline... i had exactly that budget to buy a car and i faced the exact same dilemna u did. I was thinking if i save up for another 6months of so i can afford a R34 GTT or an S15 which i also wanted at the time. But then like seriously, a skylines a skylines and i dun regret buying my series II skyline, i actually am glad i bought this one so that i have sometime to look forward to in the future. I'm plannin to start moddin it and drive it till i grad and den wen i get a proper job..den i will move on to the GTrs or the GTTs. Trust me..i no exactly how u feeel... whether its an r31, 32,33,34...a skylines a skyline and u will still gain the same amount of respect from other skylines drivers and also from people who know jack shyt about cars. I can never imagine myself drivin nethin but a skyline now after owning one.!! so get what u want..but think about this...u wait 6months or a yr for the r34 but maybe at the time there may be another car which is more valuable....more worth buyin etc. etc. and it may be a lil more expensive..so u may end up waitin even longer.. just buy the sII r33 i say and say in a few yrs time..wen u earn more dosh...sell the line and get an r34...move up the ladder...coz its hard to move down wen ur goin from the top. jus my 0.0002c
