Well no one said its slow, but can a civic keep up with a skyline or a silvia? If it cant, then its simply SLOWER than a skyline/silvia which is what we mean rather then civic is actually a slow car. But then again what do you define as "far from slow"?

Is it true that there is a new law where it states that if you get defected for any illegal mods e.g BOV n shit....that not only do you get a fine, a defect notice but ALSO a demerit of points on your license? One of my friends told me this but its the first time i have heard about this. anyone heard anything about this or have any idea what the penalties are for a defect? I just installed my aftermarket Bov, and well i have 1 pt left on my license, so it would be pretty stupid if i lost my license again coz of a stupid BOV so wana clear things up GuiLty

ohhh nooo...not that pipe..i blocked that off already..thats a big asss pipe.. there is another smaller hose which suckz air (vacuum) that is not plugged to anything. That's not plugged to anything, so is there suppose to be 1 or 2 hoses attached to the ATMo bov.....aside from the plumb back one which i have already blocked off i can easily hear that suckin noise when im sitting in the car.

well im not quite sure myself..my friend installed it for me as my knowledge of engines is limited.. but i just went down to check my bov rite......is there suppose to be 2 hoses plugged into the side of the apexi BOV or 1? coz i have one i plugged onto the side where u see that black hose in the pic and i found that there was another hose near the BOV that was a vacuum (sucking air) and it was not connected to anything......so im wondering if it is suppose to be attached to the bov and it may have fallen off and making my car idle unsteadly. Oh and one of the screws on the BOV is a bit loose which i am yet to fix, will that lead to a vacuum leak?

what about save another 2k ish? n u can get a nice 89 180sx? or an s13? they are a lot quicker then the civic and the NA r32 and is better in looks...

Hey everyone, i just got a lil probelm with my car idling unsteadly. I just installed my apexi dual chamber BOV today and i could immediately feel the difference, the car is more shaky and the idling is really unsteady...and sometimes it is about to stall. Although i have heard of it happening before on other cars, would there be any other reason? The only reason i can think of is that i didn't tighten the screw enough. But has anyone had the same problem? and how can i fix this? apart from chagnin to stock bov

me and my mate ran had a cat experience in burwood a few wkz ago. My mate was driving probally 70kmz/hr in a 50 zone..jus speedin a bit at like 10pm..no cars on the road..and out of no where..we c a fcUkin caT in the middle of the road, my friend swerved left and the cat ran left...and den..................we ended a life. Killing a cat or dog or wateva is easier said den done..you feel so guilty running over the thing. but like many of you said...risking my life or the life of my car for the cat? sorry pussie
