no dot 5 is the silicon based fluid question what would happen if somebody did use dot 5 would it eat away at the seals and or hoses or is it just because of the fact it dont absorb water

hay guys and girls im thinking of changing my ATF with some CASTROL TRANSMAX® Z. now there is nothing wrong with my trans but i can see were it would improve with the better oil. so a few questions will this method work is there a better way how much oil will i need is there anything i should be looking out 4 i have herd that changing the oil can actually be bad 4 high km cars mine has +200,000km is this true

i just changed my power steering fluid R33 GTS25T. it was because of a leaking hose and while i was there i thought i might as well change the oil. i used CASTROL TRANSMAX® Z it took a little more than .5L and about 4hr because i just did it on gravity feed. i didnt have any problems with the power steering b4 but i think that the transmax z is smoother altho that could be the placebo effect. but the crap i had in there b4 was dark red so probs some cheap ass ATF *note transmax z only comes in 4L containers so u will have leftover and will set u back about $75 but u will probs never change it again and if u do u will have plenty of oil on hand

but thats the thing i did try to get them 4 the hooning thing a the cop basically said that because i was following them they can do what ever they like WTF o well i will be ready 4 round 2. my car is ready and my game plan is ready so next time it happens they will not be walking away

i just went down to the police station 2 day again to try and get them to do something. and hit a brick wall again they said all they will do is file a general incident report and thats it (no phone calls no nothing) and that was after i demanded a report. hmmmm the po po have really dropped the ball. also brought up how they were speeding and if the po po can get them 4 hooning. and they wont because i said i was following them they have every right to speed and do what ever. ok tonight i was egged. as i was pulling in to the driveway they were taking off i didnt know why until i saw the egg all over the front of my house. i turnd around and followed them at first to get make model number plate. then i notest that they were driving like retards so i continued to follow them hoping they would crash not die but get real badly hurt. well i followed them north on Reid Hwy up to Beechboro were they then stopped on the side of the road. i was tempted to get out and dish out some good old fashion punishment but me v a full car not a good idea (who knows if they have knifes or something) well i got along side them and told them i have there details and there going to get f**ked they then replied with we dont give a shit. i then drove back home going past the Mirrabooka police station to report it. they took down a report (i think(i will be following it up)) and basically the po po cant do shit unless somebody actually witnessed them egg my house. i haven't asked my neighbors yet but fingers crossed. well just incase i want to have a back up plan. does any body know a toyota rav4 red-maroon license plate 1AYW912 if u know this car i would really appreciate a address now hi moderator's i know i shouldn't post the above but this isn't the first time my house has been egged so i have had it if u know there address please PM me dont post it up

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/RB...ark-t42819.html do the above. when u take the coils out u will see that there all attached to 2 metal brackets. take them off the brackets and replace with new ones. easy. and never again give ur car to a mechanic to change spark plugs or oil its easy and there are tutorials all over that will help and if u get stuck many ppl on sau will be willing to help so just ask give ur self 2-3hr max because this is ur first time

why would the manufactures put BOV's on there cars if it is not needed. cars are designed by engineers and one major part of being a engineer is to keep the cost of a product as low as possible while still maintaining the products life and functionality. so if a BOV is not needed the engineers wouldn't have put it on. how about we all get automatics. auto = WOT 4 gear changes = BOV stays shut "right ?"

little to none. u will be able to get the cover of but getting the the remainder of the bolt out of the head will be a pain in the ass. i had the same problem with mine. dont cut anything u need an assortment of flat head screw drivers and a hammer. first try to hammer a flat head that is slightly larger than the alan key hole so that u can un screw it or if that dont work get a small flat head and get it in-between the outside of the bolt and the cover and hammer away what ur trying to do is just get the bolt to turn a little bit so that the first method i said will work. grinding and cutting or drilling will be difficult with the bolts being at the back ok mad082 feel free to under mind my post now
