  1. Could be the sound of a worn thrust bearing. When you did the manual conversion, did you use a brand new thrust bearing?
  2. SNF24CA Front stabiliser bar Adj SNR11A Rear stabiliser bar Adj Those are the part numbers, IF they are the same as SydneyKid group buy, and if they're for an R33 GTST.
  3. Hey Don if you take the rear sway bar, I'll take the front!
  4. LOL good one! A cheaper option will be camber bushes.
  5. The other mechanic I went to for a 2nd wheel alignment was using the old school system of light beams which aimed onto a chart. So he coudn't do a print out.
  6. I didn't know about the excessive toe in until I went to the other tyre place after which the guy fixed up for me. After I got the toe in corrected, I can't possibly go to Tempe Tyres and tell them, "Hey, you screwed up my alignment and I got it fixed by someone else." You know what I mean? I mean, I really can't trust Tempe Tyres to do an alignment anymore.
  7. Hey guys 2 months ago I bought a pair of tyres for my R33 GTST from Tempe Tyres in Sydney. I got a pair of Kumho 255/40/17 KU31 tyres for $350 fitted and balanced. After purchasing the tyres, I requested for a wheel alignment and got quoted $70. I thought it was a decent price and went ahead with it. 2 months down the road, which is now, I realized my rear tyres (the KU 31s) were wearing out really quickly. It was down to about 60% tread. I was shocked as I had never been to the track, I don't thrash my car around doing burn outs and I travel only 20-30kms a day tops. A mate of mine who bought the exact same tyre as me just a week before I did still had heaps of tread left on his tyre. So I brought my car to another tyre place to check my wheel alignment. When I was there, the alignment guy told me I had excessive toe in on my rear tyres which caused them to wear out prematurely. In fact, he found out that I had just over 20mm toe in in the rear tyres. When I found out, I was bloody pissed. I had paid $70 to get an alignment done at Tempe Tyres and this was the kinda shit alignment they gave me. So to prevent all you fellow skyline owners from being in my position, this is a heads up for you guys. Go ahead and buy your tyres from Tempe Tyres. JUST DO NOT GET AN ALIGNMENT THERE!!
  8. Hey guys, quick question. What is the lowest boost you can set the turbo tech to? I'm currently running a 3" turbo back exhaust with a bell mouth dump/front pipe, FMIC and pod filter. I running stock computer as well. I just got the turbo tech and installed it as instructed by the diagram on the 1st page of this thread. However, I can't seem to set my boost to below 9psi. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know if this is normal or have I done something wrong? Someone point me in the right direction!
  9. Thanks for the feedback guys! I will try troubleshooting with what you guys have suggested. Pal mentioned that it could be hitting R & R but Mad082 suggests that it issn't. Can anyone confirm if R & R is a possibility or not. So that I can strike that off my list. But yea, thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys, appreciated.
  10. Hi all, need some troubleshooting help from you guys. As the title states, after I installed my front mount intercooler, I get misfiring from 5500 rpm - 6500 rpm. I don't think this is an issue with the coilpacks / spark plugs as prior to using the fmic, I had no issues with misfiring. My mods are: a pod filter, 3inch turbo back exhaust, with a bellmouth dump pipe, and of course the fmic. Running a standard computer without a boost controller. Car runs at 9.5 - 10psi at peak boost. Someone please point me in the right direction to solve this problem. Thanks and cheers!
  11. broken link: 404 ERROR - Page not Found Sorry but the page you are looking for cannot be found on the FmxAustralia.Com servers. We looked all over, but nope, no joy.. Zip, nadda, nothing.. Maybe those bloody punk kids stole it? If you're in denial and think this is a conspiracy that cannot possibly be true, please try using home link below
  12. The 595 RSR is the updated / newer version of the 595 RS. I think they have the same thread pattern, but slightly different compound. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. They're pretty value for money for a semi slick. They don't grip as well as the best Japanese semi slicks out there but for the price of a set, you can't complain.
  13. However much it costs me to get a Gun Metal Grey Series 1 M-Spec front bar.
  14. Is that for a S1 R33?
  15. Get better tyres. They make heaps of difference.
  16. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sk...-2-t272727.html Go to the link. Someone is selling a used pair.
