  1. Hi All, Does anyone have for sale or know where I can get a White Faced Instrument panel for an R33 Gtst.
  2. Hi Jade, have you tried Shannons
  3. Being stock the car will not obtain full boost until after 4000 revs, just behind the air box you will see a small box with air lines and wires going to it, this sets the boost to 5 until 4000 revs then 7 there after. There is a really good step by step procedure in the DIY section to by-pass this and have 7 constant (somthing to do with cutting the black wire and grounding it from memory) or you can just put a manual controller on to adjust the boost pressure, these are cheap as chips and the pick up is noticibly better down low, but you definatly would want to install a good quality boost guage first just to be sure you don't exceed the pressure. I have no idea what is actually the best boost pressure for stock as i have read pleanty of threads ranging from 8 - 12 as being safe but most say 10psi max for the rb25det. Oh and also the guage in the cluster isn't PSI (i think) so I dont think you are supposed to get to 7
  4. Hi Luke, if the Gladstone you live in is in Queensland pop into Supercheap Auto, I saw a single din sony drawer that houses an mp3 player. Has a plug for the MP3 inside and RFA jacks out back to plug into the rear of the stereo, not 100% sure of the price but i think it was around $49.
  5. Right Click and save target, they will play fine after you download them. wont play from the link though.
  6. Post a pic of your car side on and i will put a set on for you to look at.
  7. Yep 50 mins (including the 30min i let her cool before starting any work). Been a nearly a week now and i am still impressed with the stock airbox.
  8. Hi All, Does anyone know if an instrument cluster from an R32 GTR will plug straight into an R33 gtst?
  9. Decided to test the difference yesterday, took the car out for around 30 min with the pod for some semi spirited driving with an outside temp of 28 deg (10.30.am). Then came home opened the bonnet, waited for it to cool, ripped off the pod, mounted the original filter box assembely completely as standard, standard flat panel filter (The original one i took out) and took her out for another spin. Took about 50min to change over all up and be back in the car. This was for my own testing purpose only and i can't say it will be the same for everyone but...........she is running fantastic in my opinion i have actually improved it by going back to the panel and it's not even new. Note that i had no form of CIA and the pod was just sitting in the engine bay where the box was, also i have the std intercooler so there was no holes under the pod either. The biggest improvement overal was sound, for me i think when i put the pod on the induction sound was so loud (all i could hear in the cabin) you just thought that performance was increased but now i can hear the exhaust note perfect and the sweet, sweet sound of that turbo winding up . Thankx heaps for the advice R31Nismoid i would have just considered the pod to be better before reading about the temp affects.
  10. Hi All, Does anybody want to sell or know where i can get a white instrument panel for an R33 Gtst S2 (Not the Nismo Panel)
  11. Stock filter on the car when purchased, no idea how old but by looked old, so i went from an old stock to a new pod, the minor difference may have been the same just by putting a decent panel filter or maybe even just replacing the stockie? Will probably go back to a good brand panel filter soon, hoping to reduce the induction noise and after reading your quote above about the increase intake temps thats the last thing I need living in Queensland.
  12. My 96 S2
  13. Hi just checking, what colour is the instrument cluster been searching for a white one for a while.
  14. I now have a pod on my GTST and as for performance i did notice the responsivness was better but not enough difference to notice anything significant, not running any serious mods so may be a lot different for people that are. One thing I did notice for sure is the induction noise, bit louder with the pod on but that could depend on the brand you get as well?
  15. Thanks for the advice, guess if you dont have the gear it the same as putting a GTR badge on a GTST, it just wouldn't be right.
