  1. This thread is great, I can really relate. I've got an R32 GTR but before that had a 180SX, complaints so far: 180SX 1. Too loud 2. Spent too much money on it 3. Breaks down all the time (apparently getting a flat tyre is counted as breaking down as is taking it in for a service and getting it tuned) 4. Rear seat belts didn't work (I didn't want anyone sitting in the back anyway, there is no room back there) 5. Aircon didn't work very well (who cares, just put the windows down) 6. I always wanted to drive with windows down 7. The attention it got 8. Me accelerating quickly (meanwhile she is the kind of person to speed up when someone tries to overtake on the highway) 9. Car too old GTR 1. Too loud 2. Aircon doesn't work very well 3. I always drive with windows down 4. Me accelereating quickly 5. Car is even older than the 180 So far not quite so many complaints about the GTR but we're getting there haha. For all her complaints though, she sure does love to drive my cars.
  2. I have been having trouble with missfire higher in the rev range prior to this. Took it into a local workshop a few times to get them to check it out and they reckon they fixed it but kept happening. If it was coil pack getting affected by heat would it suddenly get better again?
  3. 1992 R32 GTR, been running great until about two weeks ago when I was driving home all of the sudden the car sounds like a tractor and it loses most of its power. When I put my foot down, the boost gauge would still show it making boost but it was really gutless and the loud tractor noise. After about 10 minutes more of driving it came good and started running all sweet again. Since that I've experienced the problem most times I've been driving it, on and off for about 50% of the time I'm driving it. Any ideas?

  5. Hey buddy you told me it has steel wheels but I checked it out and only the N1 gtr's had steel wheels so I don't want these anymore.
  6. Do these turbos have ceramic exhaust wheels or the steel ones? How much power are they capable of producing safely?
  7. I wanted an actual dyno graph, trying to setup some drag racing software. After a second look through the RB26 upgrade thread I actually found a graph that matched 100%.
  8. Yeah couldn't find any stock ones, all modded. Particularly need one from stock or just catback.

  10. You definately won't be thinking you downgraded when you do a 7000RPM all wheel launch in you're R32 GTR and the guy beside you in his R34 GTT craps his pants and realises there is no way he is catching you.
  11. I'm trying to set up engine analyzer pro so that I can run some tests on a rb26dett. Does anyone here use the program and have the stock specs for me to plug in or even better does anyone have a saved file of stock engine? Cheers.
  12. Yeah that is why I posted it up, was a bit concerned that it was from running lean. Any reason why only one cyl would be running lean?
  13. Ok here is a picture of my spark plugs, I just pulled them out to examine them. Been in my R32 GTR for approx 3 months now. Previously it had iridium in there but I just wanted coppers, because I pull them out every time I servie anyway to inspect so thought I might as well replace them every time. Now, I think they look pretty good, slight discoloration which I think I spot on for 3 months of use. The only thing I noticed out of place is that the plug that came out of number 1 cylinder looks really clean compared to the others. Here is a pic anyway. Tell me what you think.
  14. I just don't know so much about the rb26dett engines. I previouslly had sr20det. I'm guessing going to need injectors, fuel pump, computer, intercooler, dump and front pipes (already has decat catback). Obviously turbo, would I be looking at single turbo or twins for 350kw? How much power are stock AFM good for?
  15. My goal is to get 350kw atw from my r32 gtr. What is the cheapest way to achieve this safely?
  16. I was having the problem with the hot/cold mixing actuator not working. When I got down in the passengers footwell I tried to move the rod by hand but it was completely stuck. After a bit of stuffing around I got the part with the motor that controls the actuator out and I started playing with it. When the motor was not connected to the other little cogs, it would run constantly. Also the cogs would turn freely on their own, however put them together and they wouldn't budge. Also I think I may have damaged the motor because after a while it wouldn't run at all. Any ideas of what's going on?
  17. Yeah tried search but couldn't find any real info on what's involved and what power levels could be expected. Any ideas?
  18. Anyone know easy to fit two s15 turbos in place of stock r32 gtr turbos?/
