Hrm Im starting to wonder now. The hypergear turbos are able to run 20psi or so they say. Im starting to wonder if the turbo being internally gated and running 1.4 bar of boost could be causing the compressor surge. As I cant seem to understand how the standard manifold could be causing a restriction bellow 250rwkw's. Here are the turbo specs, my car mods and a small bit of detail on the first dyno and what seems to be happening atm. Hypergear hiflow ATR28 G3 profile .63 has the larger OP6 rear housing. Car has as follows: Hybrid FMIC AVCR boost controller z32 AFM Turbosmart Fuel Reg HKS Fuel pump Apexi Intake 550cc injectors 3" turbo back exhaust splitfires Nistune etc etc. So basic mods. Dyno run when I got the nistune donestandard turbo made 180rwkw'sat 13psi, everything was spot on. Now after the hypergear turbo, injectors and z32. its final power runs was set to 18psi, car was getting to around 250hpgetting compressor surge, overboosting and jumping to around 260hp at about 25psi. now the car had a bad batch of fuel in it I got earlier at a caltex, 98 ron of course. Dyno conditions were terrible as the dyno being used had no fresh air at all so the car hated it. Im getting the car re dynod to fix up the problems but have been told that the manifold may be giving the car too much restriction. But I find it hard that the standard manifold would need replacing at such a low power level.

Flange: common slang term used for vagina... so check your turbos vagina.

Yeh we can do it that way for sure, probably best that way so we dont have people drinking to much then not being able to drive.
-
Guess we should discuss that now as I have not had time to organise the cruise route as of yet. Any opinions are more than welcome as these next few weeks im going to be busy as hell and prob not have time to check this all out.

Today Tonight- I Sent A Email Regarding The Car Scene....
Sammy34 replied to Cruizer's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Ok, this was an idea that came to mind so I can see the flamming coming but hey some honest opinions wouldnt go astray. Why dont they just introduce a law along the lines of the current gun laws. For example, anyone owning a performance vehicle needs to be registered with an active enthusiast car club and be an active member, meaning they need to attend one event a year or so on. The vehicles number plate would be able to be refered to the car club the driver associates with. This would make the hoons easily identifiable to the members of that car club and would give police a referance to use to find the actual offenders. Now there would be alot more to it than what I have stated above obviously but I guess the picture that needs to be painted doesnt need to be painted so much by the media as it does by the "hoons" fellow ethusiasts. Most of the dickheads out there acting and driving like morons need to realise that the vast majority of car ethusiasts think there a bunch of cock knockers. I guess overall what im trying to say is something needs to be done to remove the cliche term of a "hoon" away from enthusiasts and towards the particular people that are infact hoons. By owners being associated with car clubs this may bring more attention towards the good things the car clubs are doing and seperate the hoons from the enthusiats or atleast making the hoons vulnerable to being pointed out. Majority of key offender are not car enthusiasts they are morons driving cars they beleive to be performance cars and or have purchased a performance car not out of respect for what the car is but to show off and dance around going look how f**king cool Iam. Eradicate those people from being allowed to drive or put them in a position where other enthusiasts can tell them there a wanker and have the ability to report them and I believe it will take effect in due course. THIS will give US the chance to take action and make a good name for ourselves. If you label one driver and his stupidity in place of labelling a majority and giving the public false impressions, its going to go a long way to solving the issue, as appose to what TT are doing and just making every non offending enthusiast pissed off and suffer conciquences both verbally and legally that they did not deserve to begin with. -
cd player surrounds??? air con unit??

sounds to me like its your alternator.

its the G3 profile. As fo what numbers I made, I'll let you know when it gets re dyno'd as the main influences towards the bad tune atm are the dyno conditions and an extremely bad batch of vortex 98. It could be the manifold needs to be upgraded... not sure as of yet it all really jsut needs to be sussed out and have a good going over end of this week or beggining of next. The car only made 190rwkw's at 1.2 bar. And the timing is all out of whack atm.

only disadvanteges I know of as to date or as far as I understand are on the RB25 Neo. U cant use Nistune if your putting on an aftermarket plenum, nistune cant compinsate for loosing the traction control system attached near the throttlebody and it locks the car into third. So really I guess the main reason im using the Nistune is because it retains the standard auto computer. Change the plenum = change the computer, change the computer you need to rebuild the gearbox and install a shift kit.

Not to repeat myself again but just to verify to anyone who hasnt read all the posts it is not an all wheel drive dyno.

I think i payed just under the 1g mark for mine including dyno time. Great computer, guys putting them together down at EFI know what there doing as well. Dont think id go anything besides nistune enles you were chasing rediculous number for a street car.

its the larger rb25 hi flow with op6 rear housing, bush bearing or wahtever they call it, internally gated
-
KK so car got dynoed today 550cc injectors, hypergear hi flow and z32. Cars getting compressor surge... bad batch of fuel or poor dyno conditions. Car will get re dynoed next week in EFI performances new dyno cell with new fuel to try to correct the problem as the current dynob eing used for my car was poor conditions, Stale air etc. Just going to hafto wait till then
