I saw a black 33 with V8 conversion doing laps at Darlington Park about 3 weekends ago. Is that yours or another? Sounded AWESOME and was bloomin quick.

I beleive they are actually smaller than the stock headers but still performe better! (Correct me if im wrong).. These Coby ones are 1 1/2" Primary 1 3/4" Secondary 2" Outlet anyone know the stock dimensions?

I've read on other NA threads that the coby extractors are very good. make the car a little louder though! they can be found on http://www.partsco.com/ and they ship to your door!

Yeah was talking about a pod. Does it make much difference putting in the partition or whatever cause mine doesnt have anything between it and the hot air produced in the engine bay!!!

Have heard a few people like to enclose their air intakes as to stop the hot air from the engine bay going through the engine. Does a Heat shield or a complete enclosure make much of a difference?

In your K&N kit you should have got the cleaner stuff and spray on oil.. First give shake to loosen any big dirt particles, then spray with the cleaner. Rinse with low pressure water and let dry. Then oil.

I used to get around 400 - 450 K's when i didnt worry about what sort of fuel I used. Now My best was 580 (Still trying for 600). If I drive the car really hard for the whole week I still get around 480! I only use BP Ultimate, It is by far the best I have found and I only go to servos which I know are really busy! They get more fuel more often... So Find one of those huge BP Sites and See how ya go! It worked for me. Definatly worth paying extra for it considering the gain in distance.

WHo in QLD would be the best to buy the COBY extractors from? Listening to you guys makes me want the new stuff too !!!

Maybe you could try to jam it open or remove it and see if that makes a difference?

assuming you have a stock exhaust, One with the twin head on it??? Have a look down the righthand side and you should see a flap over the hole, blocking it.. Like this... I believe the cable you can see in the next photo opens the hole when the pressure builds up or the car reaches a certain rpm!! This could be the cause of your noise! I find mine gets louder around the same time! There is a cable on the upper right hand side that opens this flap! Just a thought!!!!

You would have to go through the compliance process again! To have it complied and registered as 5 seater instead of 2+2! Go in and talk to queensland transport! They can tell you easy! Assuming you still live in QLD!
