  1. It's looking like it is actually to do with the ecu side of things. Anyone know how to get a R34 gt-t ecu to control the ac in the stagea? The original ecu was apparently one of the rare one's, however I don't know how much of the loom has been changed to suit. Is there a way to get the R34 ecu to run my ac? Really like to get this working as it's 40+ every day atm.

  4. What is this part got to do with the ac system. The motor that switches the vents works fine
  5. Car runs perfectly. Was just recently retuned by jaustech in Adelaide and made 240rwkw. I bridged the ac relay in the engi e bay and compressor kicked in but ac still didn't get cold. Really frustrating as I'm not confident I could get it fixed without the wiring diagrams or something to explain what needs to be done first.
  6. Just ran my Vin in fast and the original ecu was 0V310 So where does that leave me?
  7. I don't have the original ecu. Its a 97 model but not sure on exact build date. Previous owner assured me it was working before the engine was removed and rebuilt, was never regassed (has been pressure tested and regassed last week) or used afterwards and had power fc in there since. Is there any other way to tell what loom I would have?
  8. Looking at each diagram, my stagea doesn't have the refrigerant pressure switch at pin 57 like the r34 ecu or aux fan control relay at pin 78. How would I go about adding that to the loom to get the ac to work? Everything else as far as ac relay control signal, ac signal switch and overrun clutch solenoid (unsure if this affects ac). So it must be the pressure switch and/or fan relay control as far as I can see that is missing. can I add this in or do I have to bypass it somehow? really want to get this sorted because it's soo hot here in the desert and I have to bus my kids about a bit too.
  9. Did you have to do anything to get your ac to work? I think mine is ecu related but can't find a pin out for my factory loom
  10. Got the car back today and engine light is now out. Auto sparky fitted a terminal to pin 51 and followed wiring diagram for diode and resistor placement. Cheers. Car is a 1997 S1 RS4 auto converted to manual using a power fc for a r34 gt-t for future reference.

  12. Old thread hijack. What is required to get the ac to work in a s1, converted to manual running a r34 gt-t power fc?
  13. Auto sparky had the car today but suggests that there isn't a pin in the socket for pin 51. Anyone able to help with what pin to use in the socket?

  15. Bridged the ac relay and compressor clicked on. What is left to check. System has 100 psi in it also. I'm thinking ecu related since it is a s1 stagea running a r34 gt-t ecu?
  16. So the wire that goes to the compressor is only a earth?
  17. Also checked sensor settings on the power fc and ac is functioning as it should

Checked all the fuses behind the coin tray and they were ok except for 1 7.5amp which was second in from the right top row, however that didn't have any power at the pins (will check with multi meter tonight). As far as checking the relay, I swapped it out with a k own working one. Haven't bridged anything yet. Might rig up a fused test wire and try that.

  20. I have recently purchased a 1997 s1 rs4 stagea. Car has been converted from auto to manual and is running a r34 power fc. Ran a sensor diagnostics and all ok. I have no power at the compressor or high pressure switch plug. Checked relay ok, fuse in eine bay ok. Is there anything else I should be checking? System has been pressure tested and is all ok. Gassed up and still no compressor running. Want to see if I can sort it myself before I resort to seeing an auto sparky.

  22. I did but the first diagram uses a diode and a resistor then in the next post it's stated that you can use just a 510k ohm resistor. I'd just like a diagram for that if possible
  23. Can some post a wiring diagram for this mod using the resistor method so I do muck it up?

  25. I checked the Vin on fast and it isn't a 2wd variant. Comes up as rsfv
