I recently installed a wideband in my s1 c34 stagea. I cut the power and earth from the clock and used those. Now my problem is, now my dash doesn't store the trip a and trip b kms traveled, it just wipes it every time I turn the car off. Is the memory for that run through the clock loom somehow?

Yeah ok. Thanks. I'm slowly piecing it together I think

Duncan, I back probed the pins on the ecu and pin 14 switches ground and pin 21 powers up with ac turned on. So I'm figuring it's just a simple rewire at the relay for the ac to get it all running?

Unsure of age. We're tested to be working at 18psi. R33 -

Back probed pin 14 and had no voltage. Pin 21 was 0v ac off and 12.5v approx ac on. Checking pin 14 and it switches ground from what I can tell. Checked continuity with ground on pin 14 and I applies ground when ac is switched on. So where does this leave me?

Power Fc Boost Controller Kit Reviews
fmlycar replied to chilzzi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Old thread dig I have a gtt power fc in my c34 stagea. Now I have the factory wiring for the boost solenoid near the afm, and has power at that socket. But, the gtt has a 5 pin pug from the ecu for the boost control harness. I only have a 3 wire harness with a 5 pin plug. There is also 12v at the pin for the solenoid on the ecu socket too. Now do I use the factory wiring, or, do I run wiring to the plug for the ecu and do it that way? -
Found the problem. Somewhere along the lines the wrong afm was selected. Changed it to the vg30 setting and I'm back in business

Thats the thing, when I drove it last night nothing had been changed by me. How can the tune go from being fine for months and then all of a sudden be really rich? Spoke to a workshop in adelaide and he suggested that is has a currupt file. It's getting tuned in 3 weeks so that should clear that up.
-
So I gave it a squirt last night. Injector duty still really high but I did notice water temp dropped from 77c to 73c in the space of 300m when I got into it.
-
New fuel pump in and a new set of plugs again for good measure and you'd never know the was a problem
-
I'll fit the new fuel pump tomorrow since I have it now anyway.
-
Fitted nismo fuel reg and set base pressure at 42.5psi and no more problem.
-
I can't seem to find anything else that it would be
-
No the setting seem to have changed
-
Yeah but how can the fueling settings change by themselves?
-
Well I was in denial that the tune could've change when nobody had touched it. Lesson learned I guess
-
Looks like it's tune related. Adjusted the injector correction enough so that I don't get so much black smoke on boost. Now injector duty only goes as high as 77% so it'll still be rich but at least I can stop looking for other issues
-
Definately running way way rich
-
They are currently gapped at 0.7

79c-81c full temp

Tried pressure testing again and no luck. Got a bit carried away and blew off the blanking cap I had on there. Checked voltage at fuel pump at idle and is 13.1v New fuel pump (bosch 023) arrived today. Will install when I get time and see if there is any change. Still waiting on fuel reg too Took a pic of the power fc display again today with the airflow displayed too
