Hi guys, It's not a Skyline, but I thought I would ask the brains trust on here for some advice on this plug I pulled from my 1993 BMW 318i (E36) Cylinder 4 (closest to firewall) Brown, solid deposits on plug.. ewww The car was running OK and there was no appreciable difference after changing the plugs! Any ideas?!?

Hi all, I have a Pioneer TSW305C 12" 800Watt subwoofer for sale. It is in a genuine Pioneer sealed box. Sub and Box in great condition- has been in storage for a little while as I have no use for it. This is a fantastic sub (one of Pioneer's best subs IMHO) for the money. The Pioneer box is the low- profile box which is perfect for shallow boots. $100 or best offer. Keen to sell. Located in Sydney.

I think thanks should be given to the OP for going out on a limb and posting his experience. Good on you mate. Those in the "I told you so" camp are precisely the reason why good information like this rarely surfaces. I've got no ill feelings toward against Nisskid et al, but... How many of you can honestly say you have never investigated the potential of a cheaper alternative, done some research and inquiry and decided to go with the cheaper option??!

I hate to do this, but... I transferred $115 via Internet Transfer on 10 August 2010 for the manifold and haven't seen anything yet. Please get in touch with me asap. Thank you. -
To the OP; Unfortunately, the only way to prevent the demerit points from being accrued in your case, would be to have a court find you 'not guilty' of the offence. A dismissal under s10 is still a finding of guilt, and therefore the RTA will chase the demerit points. RE: the discussion about Ms Henley; The magistrate was well within his power to grant a s10 for that offence. The court has a wide range of sentencing options available to it following a finding of guilt. Without this discretionary power, there would be no point in having a court system. One of the virtues of our court system is that magistrates can take into account personal, subjective circumstances in deciding how to best deal with criminal offenders. Don't knock s10's, one day you might just need one!

Wrecking R33 Ser1 And Ser2

Are either of the cars silver, and do either of them have sideskirts? Cheers -
Hey guys, Just thought I'd post up some pics of some fabrication work I did on my best mate's Mk 2 Golf GTi. We retired the old 1.8 atmo 8 valve motor and swapped in a 20v 1.8Turbo motor out of a MK4 GTi. We originally swapped in a standard motor but it clearly wasn't enough, so we upgraded the turbo. With a GT28RS it has made 185fwkw at 15psi on a very safe tune. The most difficult aspect was fabricating the exhaust side of the motor- when we put the new turbo in the motor was still in the car, and the turbo is right up against the firewall (= hard) The turbo downpipe needed to clear the brake booster, engine mount, manifold and firewall, as well as incorporating a wastegate return. Then we needed to fab up a steampipe bend to plumb the wastegate into the manifold... I'm a lawyer, not a welder, but gave it a go anyway! We had the motor out last weekend to put a new clutch/gearbox in so I thought I'd take some snaps of the setup. The final outcome;

A fair point, however consider this; 1. The new cameras will be able to catch and penalise more motorists than an equivalent Police Radar/Lidar operator setup in the same location. According to the RTA, the new cameras are capable of catching 6 drivers per second! That leaves a very small time frame for the device to detect vehicle speed, record the time, date and location and take a photo of the offending vehicle. No police operation could possibly operate in that time frame. 2. Police operators undergo training in order to be able to operate Radar/Lidar devices. There are rules and regulations which dictate how these devices must be used. I find it difficult to see how these cameras can be expected to operate effectively given that the operators are only required to park the car and set the camera up. These devices may produce an inaccurate speed reading if not setup correctly- any error could end up with an unfair infringement for the motorist. It is revenue raising, plain and simple. If you receive an infringement notice for one of these Mobile Speed Cameras and you have doubts about whether you were speeding, or wish to get some further information, PM me and I can point you in the right direction.

bump. Offers please, need them gone! -
Hi guys, Up for sale is a set of 4 genuine BBS 15" x 7" wheels They are 5x114.3 with RWD offset (+38) REALLY sexy rims, it is a shame we have to sell them. They have some nice dish and trademark BBS mesh spokes They are super light weight and are typical uber German quality. The only thing is they could do with a bit of a clean up and there are a few small gutter marks (see pics). Selling them on behalf of my mate, the only reason we are selling them is because they wont fit the project car as we had intended :-( Asking $250 ono Wheels are located in Hornsby, Sydney. Pickup is preferred. Any Q's please PM me. Cheers Chris PHOTOS:
