  1. The JustJap 'Cooling Pro Stealth' kits are quite good- they allow you to keep the engine bay looking completely stock standard, but give you the benefit of a decent sized front mounted core. Ill be selling mine shortly, so if you are interested let me know.
  2. Hi guys n gals, I want to put a small lip spoiler on the front of my S2 R33 gts-t. The idea is to cover up the small bit of intercooler piping (return flow) that can be seen just below the standard front bar. I reckon it looks a bit ugly. Ideally I would love something like you can get on an R32 GTR- just a small black lip; Any ideas of what i could use? How close is the profile/contour of a S2 front bar and GTR bar? Could I modify a GTR lip to fit? Oh, and I really don't like the NISMO/type M front lip for the S2.. otherwise id get one of those! Cheers dudes
  3. Hear hear. I think it is absurd that this "good for the environment" wonder fuel has been made so unavailable for consumers. United Petroleum list ONE servo that stocks E85 in NSW, ONE! On one hand we have been FORCED to use these stupid energy saving light bulbs, and on the other, consumers (and racers) are being denied access to a greener source of fuel. So much for innovation, Australia.
  4. Cheers for that- though yours is an RB30 right? So you will have about 30mm more height than I will.
  5. Thanks guys, yeah Im not looking for over 300 just yet, but I would like to make a lazy 250+rwkw @15psi with the HX35 on the stock mani. I think I will have to just suck it and see!
  6. I have had a search but not uncovered any hard information; What is the largest frame turbocharger that will fit on the standard RB25 manifold and not hit the strut tower/ frame rail? I know people have fitted a GT3076 with a 10mm spacer and there is clearance, but how about GT35 etc. I appreciate that most people wont run the std manifold on large-frame turbos as the stock unit becomes restrictive, but any info would be great Cheers * EDIT: I probably should clarify so I dont sound like an idiot- I have a Holset HX35 (trying to keep it under wraps until I have it all together) and Im trying to work out (without test fitting- lazy) how much room, if any, I am going to have. From what I can gather, the HX35 comp housing is bigger than a GT30 size, and Im a little worried about it. All of the other Holset applications I have seen have been in R32's/ RB30s or on high mount manifolds. Cheers
  7. +1 There is no way that the tiny wastegate port can bypass enough exhaust gas to completely stop the turbine from spinning. Let us know how you get on once it is tuned!
  8. Hi guys, I have an IBM Thinkpad T42 laptop which I have had for a few years. About 3 weeks ago I spent $420 having the hard drive replaced because it failed (VERY painful). About a week after that the screen failed and I gave up and bought a new computer. (EXTREMELY painful) Is it worth anything to sell as is? Is it worth fixing? How much does it cost to replace the 'lamp' in the screen (what I was told has failed)? Should I just bin it!? Any ideas would be swell. Cheers Chris If this is not on topic, please move it!
  9. How much for the pro-gate on its own?? I missed out on your Tial! Cheers
  10. Thanks for the PM's guys. Have sourced one for a great price from 'Wolverine.' Cheers Chris
  11. Not sure that would affect the lean/rough idle IMHO.
  12. Hi guys, Just after a standard RB25DET fuel rail with no injectors in it and with or without a regulator Located in Sydney Cheers Chris
  13. Have not heard from buyer again so the sub still for sale. $80 was his offer, so bump for $80 sub in a box
  14. I don't suppose you want to separate the Greddy kit- but if you do would you sell the 'gate on its own?
  15. My advice If you can't communicate well with your mechanic, and you don't understand what he is saying (mumbling, talking shit) then take it somewhere else. If you are gonna spend the bucks you have to know exactly what is going on.
  16. PM replied, sold pending payment
  17. Bump for the 'woofer. Make an offer/ WILL trade + cash your way for an external 'gate/ splitfire coilpacks. Ask away, I can only say Yes or no :-)
  18. If you just have a vac hose running from the plenum/intake manifold directly to the wastegate actuator, and you block the hose that runs from the stock boost solenoid to the intake pipe the boost should be steady. If not, the wastegate actuator may be at fault. Pull it off (easy 2 bolts and a circlip) and use a bike pump with a gauge to test it.
  19. FYI R33 5 stud have a 296mm front rotor, not the same as the 280mm rotor on the silvia/r32 etc
  20. Hi dudes, Just after a pair (or set) of R33 stock rims with tyres, or just the tyres on their own. Can pick up today, Monday or during the week. Cheers Chris
  21. First time running at the drag strip last night. R33 GTS-t, FMIC, 3" exhaust, 10psi, 205/55 Kumhos 13.8 @99mph (1.9 60ft) 13.8 @101mph (2.0 60ft) 13.8 @101mph (2.0 60ft) She's consistent if nothing else!
