  1. Yep, you'll want to swap the centre garnish to though of course or it'll look a bit naff.
  2. Nice write up. I believe later model Nissans had the warning buzzer as an optional feature that includes a module and loom that plugs in somewhere. I know the R33's at least had this so it stands to reason that other models should have as well.
  3. 27140-71L10 is your part number. Quick google search tells me C33 Laurel, U12 Pintara. Probably other models but U12's are pretty common so should be easy to find one at a wreckers. About $300 brand new if you wanna go that way.
  4. Yep autos are 4:3, manuals 4:1 If your car already has an LSD shimming it is your cheapest option. If it's a single spinner then you'll need to source an LSD centre and probably shim it. If you post your VIN in the VINS you want fasted thread in General automotive discussion it'll tell you if your car is a GTS25/S which will have an LSD or just a normal natro which won't.
  5. What car are you planning to do this with? If you have a 33 ratios are the same for NA or turbo but it depends on if you get an auto or manual diff. If you're planning it for a 31 which is the only car you have listed then it's a lot more involved. If Jap Spec IRS They run an R200 Longnose diff which isn't just a simple swap. You'd probably need to do the whole subframe etc with custom mounts, custom tailshaft etc. If Aus spec live axle you will need to do the same as the Aus specs run a Borg Warner diff which is entirely different. Kaaz offer an LSD centre for these diffs or you could use a cone type LSD out of a Sillhouette though I don't think they are particularly strong.

  7. Oil leak is most likely the rear main seal. Auto sounds like its on its way out. What interior panels you missing, I've got a whole bunch I'll let go of really cheap.
  8. Is anyone running the current version of fast with windows 7? I've got it installed but every time I open it it flashes the Nissan logo and disappears.
  9. Looking at the angle of them I'd imagine they direct air into the brakes.
  10. They'll fit gtsts sure if you wanna change the rest of the gear for a GTR front end. The vents were optional on all front bars.
  11. On top of this, is it also possible at all to find out what region in Japan and possibly what dealer your car left the showroom from? These are things I'd always wondered about.
  12. Sorry mate don't have any of the dash demister grilles anymore. Do have all the ac vents though.

  15. It looks pretty similar to a Greddy gauge, have you tried a Greddy sender?
  16. Not sure if you're aware but the teal HKS cam gears had a habit of stripping off teeth.

  18. Have a 33 shell with drivers side damage. rails and roof are fine.
  19. You can get collets new from Nissan for around $1 each. Works out to around $50 for a full set but worthwhile if you can't find them otherwise.
  20. Vic needs imports to be stamped? wut? I've never owned an import with the compliance vin stamped on the chassis. My car has a plate on the strut tower you can't even see with a strut bar installed and my parts car has a plate riveted to the radiator support.

  22. Hey mate yes I have a P/S rack. No leaks, no bends moves smoothly. Inner tie rod ends, rack ends? I can include them but one is bent and the ball joints in both are pretty knackered. You can get a new pair for $50 though. Can do the rack for $100ono. PM me if you're keen.
