    Just for you I pulled a brand new genuine stud out of my 25 head and measured it. They're exactly 50mm. approx 13mm thread on head side, 22mm thread on manifold side. Hope this helps

    2.5" Kaki R, with mid muffler should be more or less around legal limit. Without the mid muffler like that though I'm guessing it would be rather loud and droney. It should still be reasonably subtle though with an oval muffler as opposed to a straight through mid section with a cannon.

    On the rough textured part try paint stripper then scrub it off with a green scourer pad(wear gloves )
