that silicon stuff i think is used to prevent rusting between bracket and the body i used seam sealer when i replaced mine and removed my fenders to access the two other bolts
hey bud do u mean its not flashing or the indicator is not cancelling if its just solid(not flashing) high chance is the flasher relay should be able to get a generic one from a repco store
check timing with a timing light so you dont need to pull all the other bits off if the timing light shows its out of wack and your definate you did not touch the dizzy then you know the timing belt is not correctly aligned or has skipped a tooth also if dizzy is off to one side of adjustment you know t'belt is out
putting a lock bar and caster bushes in tomorrow and need to know what specs i should set it at is has adjustable camber bushes car is used mainly on street and loward about an inch or two if anyone know the specs or can lead me in the right direction it would be sweet cheers

hey just a quick question the new tyres are they the same sizes all around or different if different that may be the cause of your prob different tyre rolling circumfrence can effect the abs speed sensors
hey guy holding the fan with one finger is a bit of a worry is that when the car is at idle then fan slowed down or held down and car started at work the way i test viscous fan hubs as i let the car idle then get a bit of card board to try wedge it to slow it down if it slows down quickly means the clutches inside are knackered prob reason why when acclerator is stabbed the fan is not keeping up with speed of engin just slipping on the spot do the test see how it goes good luck with it mate
