  1. wouldnt suprise me as i ran into a problem with the tomei solid lifter kit a while ago as it only works with some castings of the rb25 head apprently.
  2. its interesting to see that is where that 5stud garrett housing came from, i've seen them used in highflow setups before had always wondered what housing it was.
  3. What mods do you have to be advised to run these as they are quite a decent plug and work very well,
  4. been running any fuel additives?
  5. which one of the 3 types of racing plugs from trust do you prefer?
  6. i recently back to back tested stocko's vs splitfires, stockso were f**k knows how many genuine km's old out of an r32gtr engine package, punishing both sets of coils on the dyno stock where better, not buy all that much but considering the condition of the stocko's and the splitfires(barely10-15000km's old) i'll never use anything but stock coils again. splitfires are good on a budget replacement, but dont expect as much out of them as you'll get out of standards and yes that HKS ignition amplifire is about the only upgrade out there that works successfully for these things
  7. if you were goin into the housing.. i'd most likely go location 1, however better off in my opinion to put it in the intercooler pipe close to the turbo, saves having to pull apart the turbo than drill tap and clean and worry about possible little bits you "may" have missed
  8. out of all the cars i've used the Tbolt clamps on, i have never had a leak from any of them at idle or under boost as for the answer, sorry dude i actually dont know what size the standard gtr stuff uses.. like alot of r32 owners.. my gtr doesnt have an engine in it at the moment lol
  9. you gotta be shitting me? i hope your not talking about the ones i've put a pic of below as they are all i will ever use for intercooler piping as they are by far the best for it out there i have not once had a hose pop off using these but i cant say the same for the rest of the hoseclamps out there, sure there bit big and bulky but they work and they work well!
  10. pics are shit, but they look like S2 to me.
  11. fixed... well at least thats what apprentices should be told..
  12. hahaha gold, thats pritty much spot on too, thought never crossed my mind
  13. electric scavange pump hooked up the the oil drain, APS supply these with there twin rear low mount turbo kits for the VE V8's as the turbo oil drains are only just above sump level.
  14. looks like a fuel filter to me.
  15. "Fit time is around 3.5 - 4.5 hours depending on experience" you have gotta be shitting me, those marketing flamin mongrels have never done the job themselves
  16. what exhaust system are you running? mainly cat converter and dump pipe... also if you've got access to a reulator and compressor, check to see if the diaphram in your actuator hasnt gt a slght split/crack/leak, do this by connecting hose to actuator from compresser and very slowly start putting pressure into it and you should see the arm move and open the flap on the turbo.
  17. each time i do filter and oil change i always end up just putting the whole 5L in, always sits on or just above full line after a couple days

  20. i've litterally just finished wiring my rb25 into my s13 however after 40 hours of being awake i'm not in any state to explain it, i'll shoot you a pm tomorrow or if you want pm me your msn addy and i'll explain all on there when i'm not a walking zombie
  21. nothing compares to good condition stock coils.
  22. agreed. both are great manifolds but kyle seems to take that extra detail with finishing the ports off.
  23. one thing you guys missed is where he has said this... The OEM plastic cannot work because of the ""two 4" pipes i have for my CAI"" anyone say overkill on the cai.. get rid of one of those 4" pipes and run your piping how it should be with 2 stock gtr bov's or a trust type R bov.
  24. the biggest thing with garrett's warranty is that you must run an inline filter on the oil feed line otherwise they will not cover the warranty.
