  1. Attached a PPSR VIN Check for any interested parties e2m8owsw.ppsr.pdf
  2. Hi mate, could you post some interior (seats, centre console) and engine bay shots please? - Do you have the history of the car (where it was sourced/dealer bought from) are you the 1st owner in Aus? - Receipts and paper work for any work/servicing done on the car (incl 100K km service)? Interested from NSW so can't come down to see it, hence the questions
  3. interesting find, didn't know they were produced into 1995, that interior is proper time capsule stuff
  4. Awesome display of patience and craftsmanship mate, always great to see a skyline getting pampered
  5. This thread is a prime example as to why I think this is the most knowledgeable car forum in Oz and possibly the world, great show of wisdom and kindness All the best with your endeavours Edifier, look forward to living vicariously through your future GTR experiences - feel free to post up any prospect cars to find outside SAU, everyone is more than happy to lend you a second set of eyes
  6. Sorry to hear mate, just curious what sort of condition you have? and how is crossfit affecting it?
  7. spec wise - the only supra i would be making a move on while on my P's is the RZ, with the vvti motor, 6sp, 4pots/2pots - they will stand the test of time alternatively (and much rarer) i would opt for the R34 GTV which shares the suspsnesion, LSD and 4pot/2pots both have a classic straight 6, but i would have to say the non-turbo Supra is better interpretation of the full blown 2JZ Supra, where as the GTV/GTT seems like a watered down version of the GTR - although the best Supra will always be in the shadow of a GTR - which will always be in the shadow of the NSX (only my opinion) clean supras are harder and harder to find nowadays and they really have a presence on the road - i went with a R34 because i thought no-matter what car rolled up next to mine at the light - i felt i was in the right car - not the better, faster, better handling or anything tangible like that - i felt it suited me better than any other car out there you really need to find one that stands out / inspires you and then will know because it will have your name on it these 2 threads should help you out to find your preference R34 thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/146573-r34splease/page-246 supra thread http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?101-Supra-Picture-Thread/page66 Supra
  8. i would put my money on that the o2 sensor is playing up / overheating had the same issue with my R34, whenever i would take it for a spirited drive or a power run on a motorway i would get the engine malfunction light - replaced the o2 sensor, cleared the ECU, never had the error light come back since would go with a genuine Nissan item which is available at kudos motorsports; http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nissan-lambda-oxygen-sensor-genuine-nissan-skyline-r34-25gt-25gt4-25gtt-rb25de-rb25det-neo-p-187.html

    R34s...please!

    this is the correct attitude pics of my slug;
  10. yes correct, it shares the same LSD as the GT-t model
  11. if you have the turbo model brakes (4-pot calipers that say 'Nissan' on them) you can be pretty sure that your car is a GTV model R34 - should also share the same suspension as a GT-t (rear struts should have a fork arrangement and the fronts have an eyelet arrangement)
  12. watched the movie Broken City today, this song was right at the end Moby - Shot in the back of the head
  13. There is a set of Ohlins (aka the good stuff) in excellent condition for 1600 at the moment - they retail for well over $3000, im sure there is some space to negotiate http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/415358-19-meisters-and-r33-ohlins/ R34 25GTs (standard non-turbo with normal single-piston brakes) share the same suspension with R33 GTSTs if you have a R34 GTV (4-pot front brakes that say 'nissan' on them) you will share the same suspension configuration with R34 GTTs & GTRs and R33 GTRs,
  14. hey mate welcome to the forums, its a great community for get togethers and troubleshooting also good to see you went with motorman imports, they are well known for good, clean and honest cars all the best with your beast, you will not be dissapointed with it Dan
  15. Hi mate, it could be that the code has not yet been cleared from the ECU from when you replaced the faulty items, would be the first thing to check if you are not finding any idling issues, the coilpacks, ignition module and CAS should not be at fault if you clear the code (need a carputer ECU scanner thingo) see the below workshops as they would definately have these i would try suss out either of these workshops depending on which is closer to you; Dan @ ERD at Yatala (South) or Pete @ RPM Dyno and Performance at Morayfield (North). as they build imports (particularly skylines) day in day out, as they would be your best bet to trying and sourcing parts to help you out
  16. Hi mate, don't worry, plenty of us have had this issue - just need a few more facts if possible - was the code cleared from the ECU? has it come back or has the light always been on? - are you still experiencing any rough idling/hunting from the motor? - did the workshop you took the car to test each of the new coilpacks to make sure they were in good working condition after they were installed? (i have had a brand new nissan OEM coilpack fail within the first day) - which workshop did you take it to? which state are you in? did you take the car to workshop which is familiar with skylines and all their common issues? most of the time the issue is with the coilpacks, but in some cases it does lead to the ignition module, i would doubt it though, best to check again with a good workshop with what you have already done instead of just replacing everything hope you get it sorted mate, we've all been there Dan
  17. Just found this build and read through it, fantastic story mate, great to see some long-time owners (fewer and fewer these days) Only on SAU are there quality R-chassis bulids such as your one, really enjoyed the pictorial updates all the best mate, should be in good hands with Racepace looking after your beast
  18. Welcome Akira, be sure to get all your essentials in order ie. alarm/immobolizer and insurance (minimum third party with fire and theft cover) - if possible try and fork out for atleast the first year with full comprehensive cover as all the unfortunate stuff usually happens in the first few weeks of ownership - which is not something you will be able to cope with when taking out a large loan, we hear too many sad stories on here so do your best to make sure you don't get caught out coming from Holdens, one thing you will need to adjust to is that Skylines are a magnet to (but not limited to); - vandalism / random attacks on your car because it's a rice rocket and parts of australia are still bitter about Nissan raping Bathurst and just in general absent minded muppets who just hate jap crap - theft - plenty being stolen, see link - https://www.google.com.au/search?q=site%3Askylinesaustralia.com+stolen&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a - police - defects / more attention - carjackings (quite a few going on recently) Not saying these will all happen becuase you have a skyline, but there are more cases than not to be cautious about being in QLD you have access to one of the best security/audio installers in Aus, and is very familiar with Skylines - Chris Rogers who is a regular on SAU; SAU profile; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/user/2209-chris-rogers/ He heads up Audio Express; http://www.audioexpress.com.au/ all the best mate, do the right thing by your beast and you can look forward to many years of rewarding motoring to come Dan

  20. thanks for sharing, never enough good workshops in sydney
  21. looks good mate, building up to be a stunner, good choice on the paint, looks ace, keep it up bud
  22. it doesnt make much sense untill you've tried it i suppose, it offers decent exposure to a strong combination flavours - in it's defence it is lebanese bread so it is quite light - i've had similar arab/mediterranean meals (lamb/chicken shish plates) without chips also, works just as good
  23. Hi mate, had this before - you will need to take the headlight to a place that can; 1. place it in an oven to soften the glue that binds the headlight 2. pry open the headlight and re-clip the blinker cap 3. re-seal the headlight with new glue if you're unable to dis-mount the headlight yourself and are in sydney, you can take the car to Top Secret in Blacktown - who can remove the headlight without damaging any of the clips and then organise for the headlight to be repaired at Plastifusion - which is just around the corner - whilst your car is kept safe at the Top Secret workshop; if you can remove the headlight yourself you can take it directly to Plastifusion for repair Top Secret Service Center; Jack (director) or Pete (head mechanic) Unit 2, 1-3 Carnegie Place, Blacktown Phone: (02) 9621 5700 info@topsecretservicecentre.com.au http://www.topsecret....au/index-1.php Plastifusion Address: Unit 2 170 Sunnyholt Rd, Blacktown, NSW, 2148 Phone number: 0298318018 Read more: http://www.startlocal.com.au/auto/wreckers/nsw_sydney/Plastifusion_2487986.html#ixzz2IEHAyCe2
