  1. Don't mean to hijack your thread, but im just curious how thieves get through conventional security devices, e.g. steering wheel locks and wheel clamps are they difficult to get past at all?
  2. Hey welcome =) young or old we're all on the same page here, so enjoy your stay and enjoy your car! Danny
  3. I believe this car is being sold on here before by a member, the car looks OK, however you would want to confirm the mileage and whether the owner has the original dash to verify the real mileage. Non-genuine front bar and re-trimmed seats also bring down the value of the car. I'm not definitively saying this car is a lemon but there are better examples out there for that price. I found the original ad from SAU; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/20...&hl=r34+gtr Don't settle for second best, be patient and wait for the right car that will have your name on it All the best bud, happy hunting =) Danny
  4. Real sorry to hear about all of this bud, it must make u sick just having to wait for something else to happen, and with the justice system not bothered it must just be killing you. You can only pray things will pass because normal functioning people like yourself will never be able to level with such scum really feel for you mate, i hope things work out how they should Danny
  5. They're "Speedy Wheels" made by Bob Jane Australia
  6. This was the same issue i had with Garry when i wanted to find my car, i was checking the USS auctions daily and constantly emailing them to check out certain cars i'd found. That said though, Garry showed me all the DIY's they have going, it was about 6cm thick in paper (1 sheet per DIY) so they do have their work cut out for them. I can only advise that you check in with them atleast once a week via email and pop in once a month in person, so they know you personally and your case will stick out more to them. Demand their attention and they will look after you. Also look for cars in Japan yourself; USS auctions: https://bzl.cis6200.jp/e/index.asp Password: P56997 If you find one, then give them the code of the car and they will follow up on it. All the best, happy hunting =) Danny
  7. If they don't pay rego they don't deserve to be on the road, nor be a nuisance to paying motorists
  8. Saw one of these go by and it was love at first sight, wouldn't mind on when i'm of my P's
  9. Granted, I think if your not seeing any track time, definitely go with the Lambo, its got all the ingredients to make you feel like a kid again
  10. Hey bud, If you pick up the latest issue of HPI magazine it has a section on custom exhausts, including what to look for and various places in all states All the best, happy hunting, Danny
  11. Mugen's Integra DC5R Widebody Toyota Supra by TRD But my favourite would be the Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 because i'm a real riceboy
  12. Looks great champ, the bronze TE37s give a much nicer street look than the big "look at me" GTCs

  14. Hey bud I'm from Sydney also, i got my R34 from Shane at Power Road Carsales in Melbourne, if you decide to fly down - he will pick up up personally from the airport, or if u can get it inspected by someone down there he has a driver Alan - he's a 71 yr old truckie, good bloke wont trash your car, who will drive the car up to you for free. These are the R34's he has in stock atm - he doesn't have an official website but his cars are on carsales http://powerroad.carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/p...topDefault.aspx Took me a good year and a bit to find the right one so be patient and wait for the right one with your name on it! Happy hunting =) Danny
  15. The only people that like skylines are other people that have/want a skylines, to anybody else, the big wing and circular tail lights just wind them up
  16. People usually import only if they are after a rare or limited model of car, contrary to common belief that you can save money buying from japan, you actually pay a premium for good condition vehicles in japan - you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. If you're simply after a clean standard GTR, try look locally, interstate etc, If you're after an exquisite N1 or V-spec II then i would be worth it to scout in Japan - There is a very good importer in Adelaide, Kristian who runs Iron Chef Imports, he is a member on here aswell and would be very happy to answer any of your questions. His website is: http://www.ironchefimports.com/site/ Pics don't hurt either =P Do-luck R32 Happy hunting =)
  17. Hey bud, Take a look here, exactly what you're looking for http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/N-...uel+consumption
  18. Hey bud, could you please forward me your PM regarding Power Roads - if its about them Cheers
  19. Hey bud, Any reason you're going after an ADM model? If you simply want a nice cruiser, look for a JDM S15 Autech with an auto, the Autech versions have the same power as the ADM Spec-R's - 147 KW and are naturally aspirated so they come higher tuned from the factory so you can enjoy it even when its bone stock - they come with all the JDM Spec-R turbo running gear except the engine. All the best happy hunting
  20. Not too sure if u can import the new DC5R's from japan, the only JDM Integras i've seen are the DC2R's - and they fetch a pretty penny. JDM DC2R
  21. Hey bud, Both are good cars, if your going to get an EVO 6, try go for the better speced Tommy Makinen Edition, you say you'll keep them stock so ill assume they're not going to see much track time, EVO's are really focused and purpose built, very stiff and firm to drive but a real drivers car. The DC5 is also focused but not as much as the EVO, great cars for the street if you don't mind the FWD format In terms of value for money and depreciation, i think (subjectively) that the DC5 will hold its value better as it is newer and also P-Plate legal - thats where the money is atm, in naturally aspirated cars - i think so anyway All the best happy hunting Pictures also don't hurt =)
