Hi guys, my rotors were bad at the front, the brake guy told me coz I was at my minimum the pads how ever new or waht type will make the noise..... I am at 27mm will get some new ones soon , will let you know. He said to me new thick pads and worn rotors will vibrate more then new and new or ( worn rotors nad worn pads). so there you go... will let you know soon. al

Paul, I got those, still squeal. Machined rotors, still did it. What happens is they burn in and harden.the compound that is. when you install them you are not ment to run them in first time they are on.

How can that be, when the front rotor cost that much, how can a piece of rubber be that much......Ken must do a wheel and suspension check for that price. I seriously think something is wrong with that price. $200 is more realistic to replace all of the bushes on each side. I know the upper arm bushes need to be done by a specialist. I looked in the manual and it's no big deal.....to do the bottom ones. Well if that is the case this Skyline won't be seen north of the river...... :flamed:

The reason for this post is, I have taken the car to two places for balance and alignment. And after all that same problem.

Steering wheel vibration Hi guys, I wonder if any of you had the same problem as what I am experiencing at the moment? My steering wheel vibrates as soon as it hits 100km/h. I have done wheel balance and wheel alignment. My front brake pads are new. I have noticed that depending on the road surface Freeway I can drive up to a 120km/h and nothing will take affect. Also I have noticed this happens when I accelerate suddenly. But when I do it progressively the vibrations are not there or are very small. Mainly the sped is around 100 when it happens. Is there anything in particular that I am missing that I haven’t thought of? Wy is his happening? Thanks al
