G'day Autotrust, gave the guys a call in dandy, and yeah, phucken phone manner was atrocious! Couldn't even understand him.......anyway, all he's got is the glass.......$150!! phuck!! Hey, I'm going to gaffa's tonight, hopefully he can help me at least pull my door apart and clean all the glass shards that have fallen through. Pushhead.......thanks for your comments bud.....as the saying goes, when it rains it pours.......and of late a lot, and I mean ALOT of money has been pouring out of my wallet. *sigh* So how can I beat these phuckrs!
-
autotrust are you there............i presume no doors were open so no alarm went off... car wasnt stolen, if thats any consolation and yes I could see the key barrel being tampered with. Phuck the skyline curse............yeah not much luck of late, but refuse to let some phucker ruinmy car, and make me scared of putting nice things in it..........so the way I see it, phuck it, and I'm going to get something better!.........could be hard and pricey upgrading a pioneer 8400 tho.......
-

-

Hi All, Well, I've had pretty much a phucked night. Car was broken into and my stereo was stolen. For more info on what happened, please check out the following thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...7344#post597344 Anyway aside from the stereo, I need the following: - Left passenger window - centre surround (the one that goes around the climate control and stereo - plastic surround that goes around the auto T-shift........yes its an auto Oh if anyone has a decent stereo for sale, please PM me. I refuse to let some ****er ruin my car, and make me afraid of putting nice stuff in my car........consequently, i'm determined to get something even better. Coming from a Pioneer 8400, could be hard..... Anyway, please PM me if you have any of these parts. Thanks to all who reply.

secure car parks waive all duty of care........there are supposed disclaimers everywhere......secure mean jack all.
-
no cameras...........typical., inside job. I suspect so........no way to prove it though. As I was driving out, noticed another BMW was hit.....its all phucked... Dont think I'll ever understand the mentality of such phucks

G'day All, Well, phuck it, guess it was bound to happen to me, but my car was broken into day, and yeah, as you can imagine phucken pissed off right now. To make matters worse, my car was parked in the office 'secure' car park...........yeah secure my phucken ass, and yeah, after a shitty day at work....not impressed at all right now. So is there anything which I can do.....police statement has been taken down, but I'm not holding my breath. Phck I have a thirst for revenge right now, but yeah, going to have to conseed to the fact that I can only try to repair whats damaged, and yeah, try to make my car right again. So what happened?? Had my car parked at 300 LaTrobe st Melb in the Wilsons car park. (where I work) came back to find damn, my passenger window looks light (tinted as it should be) Jaw dropped, glass everywhere, looked at the dash. Surround was snapped and ripped off. Panel around the auto t-bar ripped off and all scratched up........wires everywhere........ what else can i say........these guys seemed like professionals, there was other stuff of value, but i guess luckily, they just went for the deck, and nothing more. So guys, if oyu see a Pioneer DEH8400 (american version of the 8450) the volume dial scratched up, for sale......meet the seller, and beat the phuck out of him.........I'm mean literally phucken kill the sonofabitch Anyway, looking forward, if anyboyd has the following, please pm me as I desperately need the following for a R33 GTST: left passenger window dash surround (the one that goes all around the dash.......beside steering column, around the stereo, climate control etc gear shift for automatic surround Please excuse my grammar, (see thread in Wasteland forum) just cant be assed writing properly, but yes, if you have any of these parts available I would extremely greatful

Scotty replied to chubby's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey, Errr, my MP33's were sold aaaaages ago!! hehe, how much are they going for? Got myself a set of X14s now. How'd you know I had these??? But I digress, nah, not me, and no I'm not selling my el dials also. Sorry, I actually got mine cheap. 130 at some place in Springvale. I suggest you ask Pushead, cos I've already forgotten the place's name. I'll see if I can track it down for you. But sorry strutto, can't help you out in getting any more. I The place was going to charge me 95 to get them installed, but fortunately the the boys from JSpec helped me out and they did it for me for free!!..............boy those guys sure know have to look after their clients. -
Reverse EL for R33 GTST on eBay, worth it???
Scotty replied to chubby's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yo, Yeah, it was me who recently bought a set, and despite my initial hesitations, I'm loving them now. They're a pretty funky way of ricing up your car, if of course that's what you're going for. hehe, but all in all, no complaints. Personally speaking, I was originally going to go for the simple EL dials, but opted for these instead........personal opinion I guess, just thought these were cooler. hehe Hope that helps...........yeah get em, you know you want to. -
G'day Bud, May I ask, why only these brands? I do have a Trust/GReddy one which is for sale if you want it. You know, the big yellow mushroom thingi, which bolts straight onto the AFM. Would you have a need for that?
-
Errr, I'm with R31Nismoid........... Dandenong and Camberwell are on the same side of town. Camberwell, is near Hawthorn, so now I'm confused. Don't care whereever you go. For Camberwell, you're going have to speak to DJ_Lethal anyway. Oh sorry for the confusion, my car is already tinted, just adding my 2 cents here. A mate of mine may join in though, so whereever you decide, please keep up posted. Oh yeah, last thing, when I had my car done, it was darkest llegal, so if its going to be darker, just be careful. Cheers!
-
mesh mesh...........you own a saab and E55!?!?! What are you doing on these forums!?! Nah, I know camberwell, is pretty far for some, but $180 for a coupe, $200 for a 4 door sedan all with Tint a car F1 tint..........worth the cruise if you ask me. See if you can get a hold of DJ_Lethal........he's the one who organised it last time.

Hey Guys FunkyMonkey, that's an awesome job, great work!!! I have a R33 S1 and yeah, with the clear Skyline panel, this also can be done with the R33 but its a lot more difficult. The basic concept is the same as the R32, but the panel itself is a lot thinner and is more difficult to get behind. I'm trying to do it now, and ended up cutting a whole behind the word.........since prying off all the gummy stuff got too painful. Anyway, I'm almost done, when finished, I'll try to post some pictures up here.

FS: GReddy black turbo timer *$130*
Scotty replied to Scotty's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
bump! -
Hey Bud, Looks sweet as!! You're definitely right though, that tint is helluva dark!!! I can imagine it now, at night, I bet you sometimes cant even see your car............ I mean, tinting so dark its opaque, black rims, black paint work......completely camoflaged at night. Its dark enough to be one of those stealth vehicles, you know the type that is all black, and cant be detected by radar........... hey, could be onto something here........... now thats a great way to get out of speeding fines! Seriously though, great work, inspirational how I see guys put so much effort into their rides!

Scotty replied to Scotty's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hmmmm, perhaps some residual problem, as I cant attach a pic. Oh well, please check out the link to see which one he has for sale. http://www.alamomotorsports.com/grtimer.htm Again, its the black one. Thanks. -
G'day All, Posting for a friend. GReddy black turbo timer for sale in Melbourne. Used, as you can still see the adhesive tape on the bottom of the timer, however cabling is all new. Features - voltage display with warning, - full auto countdown mode, - lap time, 0-200m, 0-400m, 200-400m, 0-100km/h, 0-200km/h, and - speedometer display with peak/hold Price is $130, can ship interstate at buyers expensive. My personal opinion is that this isn't a bad deal, hence considering new I think these cost close to $180. Please see attached picture.

Hey, Great to hear that your thinking of joining the Skyline clan. I think funky has pretty much sumed it up, but the only thing I can re-iterate is, do not go to an import yard. You will find that the quality of these vehicles are well below par on what you can get either through a private sale or through import. I personally, have a cousin who works for an import yard, and he too recommended that I by my Skyline elsewhere. Sure that must be a testament to the lack of quality at these yards. And for $17K for a R32, thats just ridiculous! Personally, I went through j-spec, along with many a guys here on tehe forum. Didn't have too many dramas and can vouch for the quality of service from these guys. I mean, my Skyline is probably the most expensive thing that I have ever bought, and these guys were there helping me every step of the way. Bonus is, these guys are also located in Melb too, so having that extra face to face contact also does allay any fears or hesistation that you may have. So yes, as Ait mentioned, either try some the for sale section in these forums, or give J-spec a call. Be sure to tell us what you decide on in the end. Cheers

Dilemma - GTST -> GTR: A natural progression?
Scotty replied to Kutter's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hi Guys. There seems to be one thing which may have been overlooked. It seems that the question being asked is, is it worth while modding a GTST to match a GTR. While I can appreciate that it may cost a bomb to match a GTR, so much that it may even cost more than one.....but don't you get a certain satisfaction in modding/playing/tinkering with your car? That is, sure, you can blow, 30-40K on a GTR which gives you x amount of output in stock form. Or you can blow 15-20K on a GTST and have another 20K on mods and aftermarket goodies to try to match one. But where the GTST wins out is that it has been personalised to your taste. The car is how you want it Don't know, could be just to me, but to me there's something rewarding in modding your car for fun. Like the mastercard commerical GTST - $17K New internals - 10K Aftermarket mods in total 5K Thumping stereo - 3K The knowledge that you can take on any car on the road and look on people's faces when they see hose by them in your GTST.........priceless Again, this is my blinkered view on the topic, so I'll be interested to hear on any opposing view points. Cheers! -

Hey All, Well, there have been numerous requests to see what this would look like, well, Finally got off my ass to take a few photos. Thanks heaps to KingKW for this digi camera, but here is the end result. Not too shabby actually, in my opinion. What do you guys think?
