i will be in search for a boss kit for a momo wheel for a 32 gtst in a few weeks. I am pretty sure autotechnia dont make em for hicas... go for genuine momo or GFB (I think its that???) i would say around $100 +

Mine is suffering from pretty much the same symtoms - cold starts and a bit of ping (rattle sort of noise when at higher revs) - when its hot, i am running too much boost on a stock cooler for this sort of weather me thinks... i am thinking the fuel pump is on its way out, is there anyway to check it? Can somebody send me the diagnostic codes and how to check it? [email protected]

clear tail lights?? i have never seen clear tail lights on a rine before...

i have made an excel spreadsheet all about my car. There is 3 tabs at the bottom. Problems / Future Mods, Contacts (names & no's of workshops, wreckers etc), and Items Bought (basically everything i have spent on the car). I have also noted other things like last oil change, when insurance & rego is due etc... Its a pretty good way to budget for things if you have to and its also scary how much you spend on your car in running costs (maintanence & repairs)

Sorry to barge in on the thread, but with regards to the climate control display, what does the the AMB button do? It displays a temperature with some Jap writing next to it on mine for about 5 seconds. Does it tell u the current temperature inside or outside the car??? What is that chip looking thing on the dash towards the top near the windsreen? about the size of a 5-10c peice and its like a clear brown colour.... I also had to take my stereo out at one stage and saw a small vent near the bottom right hand side of the middle cluster (near where ur left knee sits) near the shifter. I couldnt figure out what it was. Is it a climate sensor??

Interesting topic of conversation ppl, something we have all thought about I think. I currently own/paying off a near stock gts-t myself. I am planning on doing a few mods (getting to run mid/low 13's), just to learn all about the car and then move on to a 32 GTR before i spend too much on the gtst. I know that whatever I spend on it, I will only get back (at best) what I paid for the car initially. My opinion is the GTR is where is at -> its a legend. There is some awe about it that I cannot find in the GTS-t. All in all skylines are a great car, and i am glad i chose a gtst to start with.

where was ur price from?? Would that unclude machining the manifold if it is warped?

How much different are they for an N/A RB25?? I have a mate at work that needs to replace his soon... How many ks on em??

I have 2 studs broken on my RB20, and i got some quotes yesterday. One was for 650 from APC and the other was 600 from Gavin Wood. I am thinking of going thru Gavin becuase he has done em before and he will replace all 12 studs. Do u think the price is a bit high? I know that the studs are only a few dorrars from Nissan. He also said that the manifold might need some machining if the face of the flanges are a bit bowed.

i paid about 13 200 for mine all up on road. That is a near stock manual m spec, with alarm, stereo, boost controller, turbo timer. Look around mate, go for the private sale I rekon, you can get the same for a lot cheaper, or for the same price one that has a bit done to it and in good condition. Also, If you have that much to play with, have a look around for a 33 or a 200 sx - but y would ya, skylines are better

or u could say ur stock ecu clapped out (somehow) and you had to replace it with an aftermarket one hehe....

I gave Gavin a call this avo for a price on getting my exhaust manifold studs done. He seemed very professional and helpful. I think i might be going to him to get it done. All i gotta do now is organise for a day off work to get it done.

mine comes on when i am on the highway for about 20 mins (usually near the strawberry farm on the m1 heading down the coast). My steering wheel does not sit on dead centre - its at about 11 oclock which really annoyed me at first but i am used to it. I didnt wanna recentre it because i thought that it might screw with the hicas??? How easy is it to recentre?

I rekon the new XR6T's are bloody nice all round, besides the weight. just saw a near stock one do 198kw atw yesterday, looked pretty impresive, sounded awesome too...

177 GUH Silver VY 'S' pack (slow pack ) It was in the police enforcement bay, the the on ramp to the SE freeway this morning, near Klump rd, Mt Gravatt, booking people in abusing the transit lane. Not sure if it part of the 'HOON SQUAD' 10th month rego, aerial on back windscreen, no mudflaps and cold air intake pipe on front bar is usually a sign of a D car.

i have the same noise with #2. Just when pulling up at lights for the last 10m there is a bit of a scraping noise, its not too bad, but i am gonna get it sused. When I bought it the guy said its had the discs machined and new pads. The discs feel pretty smooth, must be the pads...
