  1. Im looking for more midrange so it's worth it to me . Plus i have spent too much now to care how much the rest will cost haha.
  2. Sorry champ i didn't know much about how he was going about doing it! All i read was he was making it AWD and i read little updates here and there, i wasn't sure if he was doing it or not! Much credit for you taking on a large task though i would imagian it would be a headache!
  3. Fatz from the 31 club is doing it as we speak! Also think his name on here is the same too! But bugga that for a job it would be very costly. Pm Pete aka Fatz and see what he says!
  4. Cool thanks guys ill have a look at genuine prices tomorrow!
  5. I wouldn't care driving 50km in my situation atm! Just when the rentals move out next year and the mrs and i move in i know i will have bugger all money to drive 5 min down the road for fuel! Ill price up new valve springs on monday PM-R33 and compaire the difference! Any other recomendations? Cheers for the feed back guys.
  6. Haha it will be a fair drive for me once i start living out of home! You recomend genuine valve springs or some type of aftermarket ones? Thanks
  7. Nah not daily more so a project garage queen haha! Still it's abit of a waste of fuel either in the coupe or the daily just to get fuel to go for a drive in it. 98 is good enough for me
  8. That has crossed my mind but it's atleast a 50km drive to the closest petrol station that sells it!
  9. Ok before i get flamed i have read and searched alot about Tomei cams on this site but haven't really found the answer i was looking for, im wanting advice from the people that have done cam changes and wished/changed out other parts the same time. Ill be purchasing some cams in the next couple of weeks and i was wondering if i should replace anything else in the head whilst I'm changing them over? Seen as these motors are getting on in there time would it be ideal to change the hydraulic lifters? Obviously the o rings and the cam oil seal get replaced but would you replace anything else? I work for Nissan so getting genuine parts for cheap isn't a big deal unless people recommend aftermarket brands to be better! Would adjustable cam gears also be a good idea too whilst changing cams? I'm pretty much building the car and motor over a few years so time doesn't really matter. I'm looking for 300kw but on a safe tune of say 250kw i know people will say don't bother with cams with that low power spend your money else where, but I'm trying to build something a little different with as much mid range as i can get! Atm i have: Apexi power fc Z32 afm FMIC 3 inch exhaust 040 Splitfires Garrett 2871 with a op6 rear housing that I'm going to get rebuilt and highflowed again to the specs of a 3076 Next: Tomei pon cams 256 degree duration and 8.5mm lift both inlet and exhaust 6 Boost manifold with external gate Nismo 555cc injectors Adjustable cam gears? Probally a few other things i have forgot too. What else can get me more mid range over raw power? Criticize my set up people and give me some feed back. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Adam
  10. its a power fc! Do you really need a picture?

  13. Decided tonight that I'm not going to rush getting the car on the road and tuned just for the sake of 3/6 months, id much rather take my time and not be so tight for cash with the house and going to Europe next year. So with that in mind I'm giving myself at least 2 years to get everything how i want it or close enough to keep me happy for a while true hardparked style. Ill still be getting my hands on parts through out the time but i wont be putting them on until it's ready to go back together and be driven. A quick run down of whats going to happen mid next year once the shed is built: Becomes a shell on the outside sitting on axle stands. Everything that can be unbolted comes off. Engine, gearbox, tailshaft, rear subframe, power steering rack, lines, suspension, brakes, etc all come out. Engine bay/inner guards gets cleaned, rubbed down, resprayed white. HICAS gets removed with new Z31 bushes. All fuel lines get replaced, fuel tank gets a cleaned. All mud/shit under the car gets cleaned up. Motor goes on a engine stand and gets pulled down to a head, block and sump. New parts get added to the motor. (Not saying hehe) Everything gets cleaned before it goes back in. Loom gets hidden, battery in boot, relays fuses, washer bottle and overflow bottle get relocated. Still a lot more but you get the idea. Progress won't really be made until next year sometime but it will be worth the wait. Wouldn't mind doing a couple of skid pan days too. Stay tuned!

  15. Keen on the gauges if you will seperate the water temp and oil pressure depending on price!
  16. Yesterday was such a good day i thought i would pull the covers off! Opened the bonnet had a look some surfice rust but nothing too major i then seen that i had two massive L shape cracks in the windscreen with a couple more little ones starting. So a new windscreen is in order and ill get what ever rust there is behind the seals cut out, as there is two spots where the rust has bubbled up the paint next to the cracks. Might have some Nismo 555cc injectors next week too! Now i have a cracked windscreen I'm not sure if i will get them as the money is probally better off getting a new windscreen. I haven't heard back from Z store in America about my rear subframe bushes yet but i hope they haven't closed down as i have sent them money allready . Fuel pump doesn't prime with the power fc or the standard computer. There is power to the relay, the plug in the boot and power going into the tank. Ill change it back to the stock pump and see if she primes. Also mounted my hand controller. The wire will be run behind the dash to the ecu but you get the picture where it will sit.
  17. Nah water temp sensor it above the thermostat there will be 2 sensors there. Looks like knock sensor to me as there should be another one to the left?

  19. Big effing like!! I bet you would be happy with that power figure . (Wait's for vids of traction with 300kw)
  20. R31 afm plug i think are the same too!
  21. Exactly anyone can say part x has done 10000km, but in reality it has probally done close to 100000km. That's the problem with buying second hand parts. Seeing as the afm is a critical part of keeping everything running sweet i don't see why people don't fork out the extra say $100 for a new one. I got my bosch one bran new for $310 from bursons.
  22. Seriously bin the f**king flamin mongrel. Or you just posting to get your post count up?
  23. Very nice HOSTILE. So you own 069 i have allways loved the SVD cars both GTS1 and GTS2!
