    may get deleted off here but ill just put it out there.

    I can do cumstom paint jobs at good rates - Alot better than any panel shop would give out and most likely better quality too. Candies Pearls, Flakes, and even marble effects

    PM me for info so i dont hoar this thread (im still waiting on the amdinistator to get back to me about putting up a permanent place on jc)

    Polishing Stocko 32 Gtr Cooler?

    hey fellas,

    just wondering if it's worth the effort and time to attempt to polish up a stocko gtr cooler so it's bare alloy instead of the black?

    ..and really there'd be no way to get the paint off the face of the fins anyway would there?

    just wanted to ask the question, as i'm considering dropping ~1k on a pwr one, and really it's for the aesthetic of a nice shiney cooler rather than any performance gain as i know the stocko ones are pretty decent

    any input would be appreciated!

    as soon as you touch any of those fins with any force they'll bend, try and blast them they will bend. I wouldnt reccomend paint stripper as it could be too harsh but that would be the only thing i could suggest.

    On the other hand, if the paint is good you could prep up the solid areas and paint it in a silver if thats the effect you want

    I couldnt seem to find anything on this but i am known to be hopeless with the search

    After reading a massive thread on a ls1 going into an r32 i got onto thinking for myself. I used to own a vt s/c and loved the motor.

    When installing the ls1 there is a clearance issue on the steering rack just wondering if anyone would know if this would be removed with the super 6 engine?

    And what people's views on it are

    Thanks heaps for that the only other question i had and i might get pulled up here is that do you think the conversion (apart from the power outsings) would be relatively the same with just a 5ltr engine instead of the 5.7 im just weighing up all options here
