The thread from last week doesnt really cover your question. I think what your referring too was a proposal to allow p platers to drive turbo cars, so long as they dont exceed 100kw/tonne, as well as some large family cars that were up too 125kw/tonne. I remember reading an article about it a few months back. Basically they were saying that the government was going to compile a list of cars which are allowed, but dont get your hopes up about skylines being involved. The main reason for the change (if it does actually happen) is too legalize small turbo'd cars like you see on VW's, Volvo etc. Because they tend to be more fuel efficient and have good safety features. Cant say i heard anything about the passanger laws for red P's changing though.

Just spotted a silver 34 who cut off another car to jump in behind me on the turning lane off narre north rd onto ryelands drive. And then proceeded to get sideways around the corner. Well done hero

Yeah i have my doubts about the next door neighbours on one side, they seem dodgy as. As with the friends of the neighbours across the roads daughter. But there isnt much you can really do. Oh, and now he is driving around with with stockies on the back too haha, bogan spec.

Well it was parked right up against the gutter so im thinking maybe it was too hard for them to get to the other two. We spoke to some neighbours; the man next door said he heard something around 4am like a clanging noise, and told his wife but she said dont worry about it and he went back to sleep. Ironic thing is the night before that i was out for a mates 21st and i got home about 4am, had it been one night later maybe i could have caught them in the act =[

My parents have the garage, and my car gets the driveway coz its worth more haha. So sadly his gets relegated to the street. Its hard to think how people do this right in front of your house.

This morning i go outside to see that my brother's VL parked in the gutter out the front of our house had the two wheels facing onto the road stolen with the car sitting on blocks of wood. I live on a quiet little court in Narre Warren, its just hard to imagine people doing this. Lucky they didnt touch the Skyline haha. But damn some people just suck. (end rant)

White S2 33 on narre cranbourne rd this morning around 8.15am heading towards narre, i was going the other way, had SAU stickers im pretty sure. And a black 33 on narre cranbourne rd about 5.15pm at the pound rd intersection

Yeah that law is mostly for low powered turbos. Like the volvos etc with 1.4 turbo's for better economy. Sadly sports cars dont come into that category, or as family cars haha. I heard you might still have to apply to vic roads for a permit to still those cars still.

Just bad servicing i guess. I got mine at 110,000kms, everything was running well and looking in good order (clean oil etc) But me and my dad decided to check out the timing belt and everything once i got it home (bitch of a job getting to that) And it turned out the belt hadnt been done at 100,000. People are just lazy i guess.

If you got your P's before July 2007, then your allowed to drive a turbo car, so long as its under 125/kw per tonne. Im not sure how much a 32gtst weighs though, so maybe lol.

Im on my P's (green) and most of my mates are too. And a fair few of them have been busted driving a manual on an auto licence. Cops seem to notice, they will get P platers for anything haha. I wouldnt risk it.
