Ummmm...NO. Dont know where your getting your info from but you are waaaay off. I do the suspension setup on the car and was there so i know what happened Steve only drove the car once on thursday (1 flying lap) and once on friday (2 flying laps). Best time he did was a 2:17 with Miles in the car and leaving plenty in reserve. Miles had already done a 17 before Richards drove the car on friday after we tweaked the shock and swaybar settings. Miles was definitely in the car for the 2:16's he did on saturday and the 2:15 which he set on sunday. There is a video on another thread with this lap. As for the brakes..it still needs more. Even with the water spray they were still getting long after 2 flying laps. Congrats to Miles and CRD for building a bullet proof car and psoting such a good time. It was only beaten by three cars, all full GT3 spec race cars. Miles car was actually driven back to Sydney on sunday after the truck that was supposed to take it didnt show!!

Unfortunately, due to family and budget reasons, its time to sell my S14. Ive owned the car for the past 7 years, in which time it has evolved from a standard car to its current specs. Haha...no that would be me...! It may be that the shocks have bee adjusted by someone to less than optimium settings. Thats the thing with adjustables, people with little idea can easily turn a dial and throw a good setup out the window. It would probably be beneficial to at least get them checked on the dyno. Hey mate, I would be looking at converting the shocks to height adjustable coilovers and getting the Bilstein shocks revalved to suit more track work. This gives you access to a much wider range of spring rates, allows the car to be cornerweighted for the best setup. Both of these are easily achieved and relatively inexpensive. Drop me an email at [email protected] for more info. As for the alignment that is nowhere near enough camber for the track. More castor wouldnt hurt as well. What were your toe settings? P.S. I was driving the white S14 in the clubsprint class on the weekend.

Hey all, Firstly a quick intro... The names Jonathon and i work in the motorsport and development division of Bilstein Australia, which is located within Heasmans. Thanks for the interest you guys have shown in the night so far. It will be good to see you all come along and pick our brains and check out our facilities and what we do. One thing Beer Baron hasnt mentioned is that there will be a BBQ dinner for all the SAU members attending. This is included in the night so theres no cost! As for parking, there is limited parking available both out the front and behind. I would recommend coming down the lane at the back as the driveway from the princes hwy is a front spoiler killer. The guys in the workshop do really good work, and its rare that we have customers come back unsatified. Generally they come back with more work as they were happy with the service they recieved last time. Admitedly, sometimes the wrok can be a little slow due to the high number of cars coming through the shop. However i think this reflects on the number of satisfied customers and the aim to get each job done right.
