  2. not too sure what plugs are in it, thats just what i got as a summery. in regards to boost - i thought 7 was the stock boost, so ive either got 155 on 7 or 10 pound. yay if it is 7psi. anyway of checking it????? also anyone no the cost of installing a boost contoller off the top of there heads? looking to get 2 stage i think and the flip switch in the cabin hidden somewhere...... wouldnt mind winding it up a little, if its is at 7 then maybe 10, no higher than 12. Also whats the 33 turbo rated too?????
  3. sucks this is still for sale mate. I contacted you about 4 weeks ago wanting to look at it......shame you didnt want to drive it from your place to chatswood (i realize its a 40min drive tho). If you had of and it was mechanically ok i would have bought it from you then....... i ended up buying a GTS-T from a guy in liverpool who drove his car to chatswood for me, took it on the spot. was beautifully looked after. If your car still isnt sold though PM me......... might still be interested in buying from you. good luck though - It does look awesome on those 20's and in grey

  6. yeh i drove past in the opposite direction about 2 wks ago in front of adfa and they had traffic backed up for ages with police and motor registery cars inspecting everyone.....traffic was backed up for a couple of kms..... i was in the work van which would have failed big time so took the long way home past the war memorial behind duntroon..... not fazed by them if i was in the skyline either - its 100% legal and road worthy....
  7. G that easy....... sweet thanks....
  8. tried looking for a thread on how to get the door trims off....... anyone know of one or tell me how!!!!! cheers...
  9. yeh im leaning towards DIY.......worse that can happen is i get the shits and drive to them to finish off..... might even save some labour....lol.....
  10. I need some speakers for the new car. R32 GTST 2 door. Has the stock ones in there atm im thinking, judging by the crap sound coming through. Ive been given a quote by braddon car stereo to install and they want 400.00 labour not including what speakers i want. Apparently the skyline needs spacers in the front and a rear shelf made up or something. he said the seat belt something or other goes through the speakers in the rear hence the new shelf needed. i want 6 inch in the front and rear and nothing special.....was looking at MTX or pioneer...... anyone done it themsleves (thats what i was hoping to do) or know of a good place thats done skylines before.!!!! cheers.....
  11. hahaha, of course - was just thinking realistically.....lol.... yeh im planning on it, prob not till the new year though!!!
  12. all go karts in canberra are crap.... both hume and fyshwick..... i think fyshwick are faster but smaller track, and hume are slower with bigger track...... we need a proper one like eastern creek, though that would make the other 2 in canberra redundant.
  13. ahhhh.... i went for a spin on friday night around civic and by passed the NMA though it was 10pm and couldnt see any skylines around - no i know why.... lol... cant make this friday but im keen next friday to meet everyone!!!!!! well at least some of you!!
  14. geeez so many people buying skylines......... Did any of you guys that bought em recently buy one from canberra or did you have to go interstate like me!!!!!! ive been looking for a month and there was quite a lack of quality liners in the berra........
  15. ahhh yeh sorry... 1992 GTST 2 door...... black..... lowered an inch... stock rims.... GTR front calipers, GTR front seats..... side mount intercooler.....oil cooler...... bunch of others i will list up later..... and photos when i get home.... its getting detailed tomorrow.... and no bought privately... Needs regassing.....owner moved the oxy censor i think and ended up moving the air con hose or something and lost tis pressure..... so all good....
  16. after much looking ive purchased my first turbo car and first therefor Skyline. Its got a few suspension mods including Bilstein Shocks..... side mount intercooler and an R33 turbo... running 10psi at 153rwkw......enough for me atm..... handles like a gem....and not a leak anywhere.....all bushes replaced nothing needs to be done except for regas of aircon...... so less then 200.00..... the cleanest skyline ive seen for sale.....hence why i am now the owner.....lol... hope to see you all out soon......
  17. yeh no doubt - ive found a couple im interested in so ive booked an inspection tomorrow afternoon....so which ever i like most i will get looked at if its what im looking for..... otherwise theres always next time.... was looking at a GTR as the price was right and he seems desperate but wasnt willing to drive 30mins to get the car inspected....... i hate sellers like that.....
  18. THIS IS MY FIRST CHOICE SO FAR!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK???? Hi Mate I have a R32 GTS-t type M for sale if your interested it's a 92 which is a series 2 Colour is black 2 door 5 speed turbo.I bought the car 2 years ago it was stock std I got the car for me and my farther to do a little project to gether we are both mechanics by trade my farther use to build rally cars so I can assure you everything that has been done on the car is top class. It took me a little over 12months to find this car I must of looked at 30 plus vehicles to find this one.I have only done 10,000kms in the time that I have owned it and all the parts me and my farther have fitted. The performance parts fitted: ARC side mount Intercooler (good for 200rwkw +) K&N Panel filter Iridium platnum spark plugs R33 turbo (std boost 10psi) std turbo also supplied. HKS split dump pipe HKS front pipe Catco cat converter high flow Trust PE11 power extreme cat back exhaust Cam gears fitted and tuned for mid-range Computer re-map by Dr-Drift (I drove all the way to Melb to get this done he is that good and the only person I could trust to tune it) Oil cooler and filter relocater kit with modifyed inner wheel arch to allow more air flow GTR Front brake upgrade DBA 4000 Wiper slot rotors all round (near new) Brake pads are fairly new New and upgraded suspension bush's fitted (Caster/front camber/pineapples) Bilsteins shocks fitted front and rear almost new (Height adjustable) Whiteline adjustable sway bars front and rear Hi cas lock bar Strut braces front and rear Walbro fuel pump up-grade GTR front seats (std ones thrown in) Turbo timer hidden in ash tray Nardi steering wheel included but not fitted 3 point car alarm Tinted windows CD player with remote Im sure I have forgotten somethings, all the std parts come with the car. This car is turn key and away you go no need to spend a cent on it and all mods are quaitly fitted as I'm very very fussy. And car is clean I have had a lot of people comment on how clean the car is.I can assure you that you wont be dissapointed with this car its getting very hard to find a good one these days that hasn't been in a crash or rust or shitty workman shift performed on the car. As for condition of the car mechanicly spot on only a few cosmetic things which can be very easily fixed :1 x small dent on the passenger rear quarter panel (can be pulled out) :Mark on front bumper have paint ready to go was quoted $100 to spray :The steering wheel is on the way out I have a Nardi wheel sitting there but I like the feel of the std wheel All the caps of the doors bonnet and boot are all even and the paint on all the bolts are intact so has never been crashed, car has no rust and being std when I purchased it was the only way I could be sure that what I got was not thrashed or a drift pig Of the top of my head that is all I can think off. It's a genuine car and worth your time having a look,I reakon once you have a look and test drive you wont be dissapointed.Forgot to mention that it is running 155rwkw on std boost setting and is very smooth and predictable to drive with awesome brakes and suspension all matched to work together as a unit.Any questions please feel free to ask or give me a buzz
  19. Hi all, As some of you are aware im looking at buying a skyline. Theres 3 or 4 really tidy ones in sydney im going to look at. So what should i look for???? things that someone who knew what they were doing ie - a mechanic could hide from the everyday punter????? what things did you look for/at when you went down this road yourselves??? im fairly mechanically minded but any help is good...... cheers, craig.
  20. thanks, but im not looking for a GTR sorry - out of my price range and not what im looking for. I just want something i can drive around in and enjoy - doesnt need serious power..... wont be my everyday car.
  21. shame your not in canberra or sydney.....would have looked at it already and maybe bought it....
  22. Im looking for an R32 (preferred) or R33 (could be swung this way) to buy. Must be in great condition and doesnt need to have heaps of mods. Basic ones are good such as cooler, boost gauge, pod etc etc.... but as i said it doesnt need any of those. Just needs to be in great condition. Would prefer a type M or one with a sunroof but not a big thing. ALSO MUST BE MANUAL.....NO AUTO's PLEASE...... not interested in 4 door also.....ONLY 2 DOOR coupes please.... colour not fussed.....so long as its in good condition... Im located in canberra but im travelling to sydney this weekend to look for one. No time wasting or test piloting to be done....genuine cash buyer.....with funds ready to go....no bank loan B.S cheers, Craig.
  23. also stay well clear of ACDC in MItchell......biggest rorts in canberra and cheats..... dodgy to the max.... claim they replace mechanical stuff with new stuff but use 2nd hand gear and charge full price........ DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. DMB or jackos are a rort.....ive had bad experiences with them on 2 occasions..... first one was i was selling my VR couple of years ago and they said it had a diff leak - there was no diff leak at all.... I had a fuel pressure hose snap and spill fuel all over the diff so it was just residue left over - they couldnt tell the difference..... 2nd was a rego inspection for my mazda (everyday car) they pick on everything and i mean everything...... I had it passed my NSW the day before and then they failed it the next day for ACT rego (had to transfer ownership into my name in NSW first before i could it in ACT - long story) they failed it on my front tyres - bald apparently..... they were slightly worn on the edge but nothing huge - 3 or 4mm thats it..... and they also failed my rear brake light above the window - idiots, i ended up getting into an argument with them about it, it was working fine when i dropped it off, what did you do to it - he was determined to prove me wrong, walked out in a huff with me to my car and checked it again.... his face was ammusing, the embarrasment in front of his customers made it worth while...... so stay away from them if you have any mods at all......or anything slightly wrong.... Paul white is great - actually my uncle in law - he used to be at melba shops servo but moved, so i dont use him anymore as its too far to drive cause of the hassle of getting home..... i use the new guy down the road.....easy to walk home.
