Did you have any problems using iron X on brake rotors / pads? They Ruined my HAWK HP+ pads... i was thinking about using the sonax gel to clean the dust off without damaging the pads.

What size/thread pitch are those brass nipples?

well i guess its on the 7.0ish kg/cm2 on the stock oil pressure gauge... 2 needles about the 2nd tick from the top on stock gauges. I idle about half way down to the next tick from 5 kg/cm2, at full temp.

i would, i had a boost leak to when i tuned for 9psi and made 270 rw / 268 tq, had a 13.1 A/F across using afc-neo. No leak = more air into engine, so a retune would help.

Iam going GT30 really soon and i was wondering about a few things. Iam running a pretty heavy weight oil right now Greddy GR-1 10w-60, i get awesome oil pressure all day long (7.5 kpa revving high) and i was wondering if i should run a restrictor on the GT30 to prevent seals from getting blown. Those of you who already run the turbo, what size oil lines did you run to the turbo? I was also planning on running a Tial 38mm external wastegate with VTA, will this suffice for my final goal of 15 psi? Thanks

i have the new SSQV, it surges like mad between shifts at 8psi. But at earlier shift it works fine? I dont understand why it does that. But when the car is in neutral or parked. And i rev, it will reileve at anytime you let off the gas. I dont understand why it surges when iam boosting under load

nope... some cams have a larger lift.. meaning it pushes the valves down further... improper shimming and valve/spring combos can lead to valve bending when the piston strikes the valve. Or in extreme cases... breaking.

i kinda regret converting my auto to 5 sp But i wanted it to be a drift car... Transbraking woulda been so fun on these beasts.

Hi everyone, My name's Koshi, and iam posting from Houston, TX USA. I currently drive a 1998 R33 GTS-T. I've only been on this forum for about a day and i've probably learned more tricks here than any other forum i've been on (NICO, HI, SEUR). Iam currently at automotive tech for a local car shop (not sure the rules on posting web sites), the shop name is in the last pic lol. Thanks everyone for your timely help! Here is some of my stage I set up.

GReddy GR-1 5w-30, cool high end night runs GReddy GR-2 10w-40, summer time, hard acceleration

I use GReddy GR-1 5w-30 for aggressive weekend night driving, and GR-2 10w-40 for the summer times here where it can reach over 100 F ambient.

My automatic GTS-T, original base line dyno with breathing mods ran 16:1 and made 195 rwhp.. lol... yeah damn lean. After we retuned it to 8psi and 13:1, with no low throttle map. It did 272 rwhp and 265 tq, which is a day and night differance. As for economy, driving hard i do get terrible milage and run extremely rich (due to no lo thrt map) and get about 15 mpg. Passive driving is not a problem though and i average around 20 mpg.
