Hi, I have afew Q's Awesome post, but a little to long to read on my lunch break I am interested in performing this transplant into my r32, what is the total cost of the motor + extras Do you need to perform any custom mods to fit to an r32, mounts, crossmember etc How much heavier is the rb30/25det than the rb20det, will i need to upgrade suspension brakes, is it heavy enough to upset the handeling?

I painted my calipers not long ago (gold) and did not need to remove them, You can get to the whole caliper with the wheel off and moving the wheel from full lock to full lock.

could you send us a copy also, thank you in advance. also does this sound right, I am with famous, have a 1992 GTST r32 manual, live in sydney and am paying $2300 per year with huge excess, i am rating 1, 23 yrs old, have one speeding fine in last 5 years and one at fault accident (depending on which insurance company i ask, I hit a ROO and wrote the car off). are other people payinf similar? *edit* also car is pretty much stock 3inch dump pipe back, 17's, nice head deck, top of the line alarm/immob, turbo timer and that is about it!

it sounds (almost definatly) like you need a rebuild, there should be no where near enough pressure in the sump to pop the dipsick out unless there is a major internal problem, hope you have warranty, sorry!!!

hi, i have recently fitted a dump pipe back 3inch zorst with resonator and cannon muffler, now occasionally when i lift off the throttle (down a hill for instance) then accelerate again it (SOMETIMES) gives off a little backfire, it also occasionally does it when double clutching while accelerating hard. I never noticed this before fitting the exhaust, could it have always done this but was unnoticable with the factory exhaust or is it likley and after effect of the zorst.

i don't spose either of them have adaptors?

hey is that car at topline motors???? I was going to drop in and have a look at it the other day, looks like it is well worth 18k, i bought my r32 thru topline and have had very few probs!!

mine also has the fins, and is a 1992 type M, but all the 32 turbos i have seen have had finns on the calipers!

Hey man, it may be the same prob as mine, pull the knob (the one you turn the lights on with) and get some contact cleaner into it and it may well fix it up! DON"T pay $200 for a new switch tho!! wreckers should have them for much cheaper!

does anyone know where to get the little globes that back light the up/down arrows????? also the sensor is a little grey box mounted just infron of the radiator, near the thermo fan!

yeah the engine is an rb20det. the driveline is different, the attessa is not on the GTS4, the interior is different, really the only similarity is the fact that they are both skylines and are 4wd

hey it looks like the pipe that is in the way has a long rubber connector?, is it possible to bend it enough to temporarily fit the box?

yeah it would either be diff ratios, gearbox, or you tacho is wrong, my rb20 sits at about 3000 ish at 100kph

also do you have any pics of the zorst, what condition is it, dents, loose baffles etc very keen if good cond, also does it come straight out the back or an an angle?
