Well this cops said some shit like its has to be visable at a 45 Degree angle, from both sides of the vehicle. then he took photos of my car, car at "his 45 degree angle". i asked him what his maths is like coz that wasnt looking like a 45 degree angle to me, where he took the photos from. and the way he positioned the camara, on the photos you couldnt see the number plate numbers, but by the naked eye you could see it, the rat turnd the camara a bit an a sharp angle. and gave me that fine of $107 bux and 3 points, plus listed it on the canary for Not meeting the standards. does anyone have a good piece of "document", a complain letter that would help me get out of this. anyone with a Bachalors Degree in Bullshitting?

Just got back from St.kilda beach. fkn rats, got fined like a mad dog, EPA i coped like 2 weeks ago at Williamstown beach, and today coped canary at St.Kilda. THe cops gave me a canary, and listed down on the sheet My number plates for not being able to be seen, coz they are int the left of my bumper bar and not in the centre. The canary is for "not meeting the standards" and on top of that i coped another fine for them plates being the left hand side. Can they list it on the canary sheet and also issue you another fine of $107 for the same defect? coz thaz what they done to me should i write a complain letter? any suggestions?

Up for grabs... CHeaP cheaP cheap ChEaP!!!! Most parts available apart from pistons, of a R32 Turbo Engine. Most parts have been allready taken out and ready to be picked up. All parts are in working condition, unfortunately cannot be tested due to engine being taken out of the car allready. Will seperate any parts, but also willing to take offers for the whole lot. Only reasonable offers / no time wasters. thanks

this is like a arguement "who came first CHIKEN or EGG" if the exhaust has got a leak, and leaks out fumes, that should be then still part of EPA and not RWC, but the RWC tester still writes it down as a fault, that need to be fixed. there u go, EPA is part of RWC mate.

Of course a RWC isnt gonna have a 'how load ur exhaust is' section. The multiple choice sheet doesnt include all faults, thaz why on the right hand side you have space to specify additional faults found, which is the testers responsibility. As a mechanic you have to specify what the faults are. and a exhaust that is to load is also considered faulty. i agree that not many places do have the facilities to check your exhausts DB's, but in a scenario where the exhaust is aftermarket fitted, the tester should send you off to a Licensed Exhaust Tester, to get a certificate that is it Roadworthy. In many cases the RWC testers forget to check the exhaust, or just let it go, which is wrong under law. so yeh.

yeah you better get rid of that turbo, especially if its top mounted, if not....u might be lucky and get away with it. You have 3 trials, if u fail first time, you can book another appointment, in a way its allright, coz then you know if they gonna say somthing about that bigger turbo, saves you time and effort ripping it out. Im just gonna do somthing about my exhaust, and bov, other shit ill try to hide. see how i go. if i get cought, then ill rip everything out on my second try.

i got EPA'd on Williamstown beach last sunday. Poor ****s, there was another 3 skylines next to me, and a dozen other jap cars. I argued with the cop, asking him if its some kinda skyline chase on tonite, the **** just started coming up with some cheap excuses. ANYONE ELSE GOT BOOKED THAT DAY?

hi there, can anyone help, need help urgently. i got Profec A boost controller, got it installed, but i dont know how to program it, i researched the whole net, but found only useless info, havent got the manual.
