i wantn's speeding, i just didnt slow down for the corner. and it was a one way road (which i was going the right way on) i dont mean skilled driver in the sence of racing and drifting and what not (i cant afford to drive like that, need my licence) i mean skilled as in most cases when i im in a bad situation (like something jumps out at me or i loose traction) i respond correctly. I have done skilled driver corces, and grew up on farms driving cars. im not saying im a pro and im not over confident, but compaired to most drivers i have gone in the car with i am better. I know i f**ked up and im paying for it. I expect friends and family to tease me for it. Though i will get offended when someone that has never even met me to jump to conclusions is a little unfair. oh and mudbung, pretty sure your explination is better. i just like the saying, my old boss used to say it all the time infact i saw him later that day and it was the first thing he said when i told him what happend. As for progress on fixing the car though. its costing me $1015 to fix the car, it mainly the rods and bottom ends of the suspention that need to be replaiced. Having a little trobble with rims though, i cant get another of the same ones that i had on it and my Dad found a set today at a swap meet, though he doesnt really know what to look for and when i got too look at them i found that 2 of them had craked spokes. so now i have 5 rims 3 of one kind and 2 of another and 3 spair tyers. So if anyones looking for a some 17"s to rip through, pm me. I could really use the cash for buying a new set.

God, the whole point to writing that part about hooning was to try and take my s**t situation and try to show it as an example. Matt, do you like kicking people when they are feeling down, who are you to judge how I can drive. Jeezz, I just wanted to vent my frustration by writing it and I cop slack for it.

I stand corrected; I should have said I wasn't doing anything intentionally illegal. Point I was trying to get across was I wasn't trying to be an idiot. Looks like I just got lawyerd...

camber, haha funny thing is i had a joke with the mate that was with me about it. saddly though its oposite to how i would like it (i can never remeber if its posative or negative, but the top points out instead of in.) as for demage im not too sure yet, will find out later today. yeah thats part of the reson why i brought a 33, people just seem to like writing them off. just a suck about the rim though. i hate the ones that are on it but i wasnt really planning on buying a new set yet. ill post later today when i get a report back. oh and mackay im in vic, though on the up side you wouldnt want me. other then being really fast and constant on a dobble kick, im not that fantastic. ill allways be a guitarist at hart.

not really if i was going faster probably would have hit it straght with both wheels instead of the endge of one.

Yeah hate to say it mate but you’re not aloud to have any performance mods at all. I got my license last year and drove around a worked Subaru for about six months without a drama wasn’t till I rang to see if I could drive a gts-t that I was filled in on the rules. Terns out I have the same performance restrictions as a red p plater. Absolutely no engine or drive train modifications that enhance power performance, even changing diff ratio isn’t aloud. Has to be stock specs. Though all other modifications are welcome, like suspension brakes, interior or sound system (has to be road worthy off-course) Though I have an fairly exhaust and pod filter on my 33 and even though I get pulled over for a check at least once a week I have never been hassled for modifications. If its any consolation if a na 34 has as much go as a na 33 (which I would assume it would), you wont be disappointed with the power anyway. Even mine was stock I was very happy to find it went pretty darn hard.

Im very sad to report, after taking a wrong tern today I found myself going down a one way road. I wasn't really paying much attention to be honest and came to a right angle corner. Due to the lack of concentration (like I said) I came into the corner too to quickly. Combination of this wheels, speed and turning too quickly caused my front wheels to break traction. No amount of brake pumping (which is pretty quick considering im a drummer) could stop me from hitting the gutter on the driver’s side. Now my rim is ripped apart (looks like gray ripped twisted cardboard) my wheel is pushed into the guard and camber is on roughly 25 degree angle from where it should sit. I wasn't hooning, I wasn't doing anything illegal and not to sound arrogant I am a pretty skilled driver. Just sucks finding out how easily this stuff can happen. Worst part is I happened at about 4pm so when I finally managed to get it to a workshop it was to late for anyone to look at it, I have to wait till tomorrow to find the amount damage. Don't know how I mill sleep tonight, feel like crying. I have only had the poor thing for about a month. Ps I know this probably belongs in a different forum but I couldn’t find one for horror stories.

ok, so i have been looking for a set of rims. thinking black with a silver rim in 18s or higher. not having too much luck in finding 18s in 4 stud though so im thinking maybe i should do the conversion. what parts would i need for it and price wise what am i looking at (i will be doing the work myself) cheers panda.

yeah i have a series 1 with a series 2 wing not too sure what my side skirts and rear pods are though. cheers andy i have seen that before not sure if i like it though. im just thinking of changing the garnish cos its a black car the rims i want will be black and i figured something to make it stand out a little would be night. oh and i sent you a pm wytsky.

while reading and old for sale ad on a 33 i found that his rear skyline symbol glows green, he wrote that it was a factory option. can be seen in this add http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ra...Gt-t132956.html does anyone know/have the peice for it (though i want it in blue) or know how i could make it glow? cheers.

yeah it is when the engines cold, not too sure if any new work has been done i only brought the car about 3 weeks ago. i is due for a 200k service if that would effect it. haven't had time to have a go at fixing it. hopefuly one of you guys is right, cheers for the feed back. skyline australia is so much easyer to get info from rather then ford forams which i used to uce because i had an el.

hey guys, i have an r33 non-turbo and every now and then i get a strong smell of petrol in the cabin. im just wondering if anyone would know where it would be comming from and how i could fix it? cheers.
