  1. got the springs out. Think the shocks arent quite up to scratch so i might replace them. So only intersted in swapping springs now. They just appear to be shorter thicker versions of stock springs. So does anyone want to swap them for standard ones? I want to get this happening pretty quickly, so ring me on 0427117725 we can swap them straight away. Cheers. oh and will someone please swap my steering wheel for a stock one? even if you can sell me a stock one ill consider it!
  2. yeah thats fair enough guys ill take it all apart and see what ive got, I guess i wanted to see if there was enough interest to justify taking the car off the road for a while, as id miss driving it if i had wait for stock parts hehe back soon

Have bought R32 GTS-t and it has low firm ride and I need to swap the lowered springs for the standard items (good condition please) Dont have pictures of them of course they are still in the car, would have to arrange a day to swap them both over, but this is a great oppourtunity for someone who wants a much lower and firmer ride on the 32 gts for free!!! I am in western suburbs of brisbane and can help with all the work with a full workshop at my place. I have also a Type R steering wheel and boss kit to swap for the original wheel. The indicator self cancel doesnt work but it looks very easy to fix it, with 4 small steel tabs to be welded on the inside of the boss kit to connect with the standard cars parts in the column to activate the cancel (this problem will cause a failure on your roadworthy if its asked for) You can come and swap this steering wheel today for free!   6. Just bought a R32 and it has lowered suspension (too low for the wheels and tyres which I like) and a Type R wheel (dont like it) Does anyone want to swap these parts for good condition stock items? im in western suburbs brisbane.
  7. Turbocharger from a R32 skyline Bought from Capalaba wreckers was straight off an imported skyline. Bought to replace a blown turbo, but upon removal was found to be something else. I have the following for sale, need to get rid off CT12 turbo R32 turbocharger, came with garantee from capalaba wreckers (reciept for $450) has done 1 month's driving, little boosting, no problems. (taken off for a hybrid to3 to go on) R33 starter motor (2 of) both reconditioned. Engine mounts siutable to bolt r33 engine into VL Two alternators, siutable for VL/R33. In brisbane. cheers

  10. Its called "unessessarily loading a vehical causing excessive noise" and it costs $240 and three points here in QLD and I got done for it once. So nows its official, according to the ****ing cops, its ellegal to use the bottom half of your throttle, because it causes this. Well you smart arse ****ing coppers, why did they biuld the bottom half into the throttle at the factory then you tossers!! (sorry, im still cut from the whole experience) I got pulled over, he handed me my ticket, blah blah, and I had my stereo off, no breaking in traction, and no speeding, and Totally legal exhuast system. All I did is accellerate from 0 to 50kms/hr flat out. (twin turbo 350hp VL). How did I not loose traction? cruide traction control, using boost cut in first gear. So there you see it wouldnt have even been that loud anyway!! Certainly impressed the pig tho. but you get that I spose. That was 3 years ago and I have since slowed down and have all 12 points but anyway... I got tailgated by cops almost weekly in the VL (now drive a stock XR6T) but if they do it to you, simply pull over and turn the engine off. If they come up and ask you what your doing, tell them you dont like being tailgated by police. Simple. And if they ask you why? Then tell them it distracts you from driving safely, and ask them politely if they can avoid doing it in future. F***, anything at all that can piss cops off im all cheers to it, because I hate the C***s personally from this kind of behavior, But having said that I just hope I dont have to rely on one one day to pick up my ass off the road after a accident *fingers crossed*
  11. ok thats cool. I wasnt trying to imply that the driver was inexperienced, Of course I hardly know the facts, But if what I say MIGHT make someone stop and think and drive a bit slower, and maybe avoid a terrible tradgedy, then that makes me feel a bit better.
  12. condolences to all family members Driving is a privilege not a right. <-- Best damn thing ive seen said all week. How many more of these events is it going to take to force the government to abandon its revenue first approach to road safety and actually tackle road safety head on - with education. Im so sick of watching my speedo so carefully to avoid speeding because it takes my eyes off the road too much!! If you want to drive a car like this, you should have to earn it, with extensive driver training - how to actually handle a car like this, etc, What more education actually does - is make you slow down anyway, because you are more warey of all the things that can go wrong!! I know im 33 now and drive a STOCK car (tho it is turbo) and never speed and have all 12 points. Ten years ago I used to drive much quicker, and only be just hanging onto my licence with a thin thread. It just takes more than a few words to slow young drivers down and make them realise how important this is. It just doesnt get through enough tho. To be old and wise you must first be young and stupid. The trick is to survive being young and stupid. So for GOD SAKE you younger lot. SLOW DOWN AND THINK. The governments' idea of banning P plate drivers on the road at night, with passengers, etc, is a bit harsh, but I can understand why they want to consider this. The idea of them enforcing younger drivers to drive a less powerfull car is also harsh, but it doesnt have to be judged on age, judge it on driver training. Implementing such a change to the driver licensing structure is just such a huge costly change to the transport system tho, that I think no transport minister is game enough to take it on. sorry if i ranted on too long. This is really sad.
  13. Does anyone know, (or share my problem!) where you can get oil seals for the standard rb25det turbo? I have a turbo in good condition, just missing a oil shaft seal, exhaust end. I have successfully repaired a blown turbo in the past, and sold it and gave the chap a warranty, and he has never been back. So I can only assume the turbo is still boosting well. I found the secret was, you simply need to turn up a new seal plate (original one always breaks upon removal) out of alloy, put a O ring on it, and as long as you got it straight, everything is good. These turbos are hard to work on, the ball bearings are NOT captive (meaning, when you take the shaft out, the balls all fall out!) but once you know how, quite easy to repair. AS LONG as you dont need to balance them. If they go out of balance - well, you have to spend more money on them then what its worth. Ive rung around turbo shops and they all tell me you cant just buy a oil seal off the shelf, yet they will happily take you turbo, and rebiuld it, give you a warranty, but charge you $900 - to rebiuld a $500 dollar turbo.... ?? Doesnt seem right does it. So where do THEY get their seals from? Anyone shed some light on this? cheers

Comes with alternator, radiator fan, but is missing exhaust manifold and turbo (would siut a biulder using aftermarket manifold and turbo.) Internal is still stock. Also comes with loom and ECU, and flow meter. VL radiator, and stock R33 flywheel and heavy clutch and starter motor to siut available. $2000 $1800 $1600!!   19. I hope people who do this dont automaticaly think its better, when it might have been a case where thier original boost controller might not have been set up correctly. Just because the new system might have made the car quicker, doesnt mean its a better system, just might have shown up a problem in the setup of their original controller.
  20. listen. Can i get a accurate answer to this question. Will this super doopa pneamatic valve do a better job than my APexi AVCR? Im using the apexi to limit wheelspin in 1st gear. That alone is reason enough to leave it there. mx83toy whats your answer to that?

  23. well i would make one, but do you know how hard it is to make something fit between two solid objects? like its not a fitting that can move or flex a bit, its a peice that must be bolted between two objects that are themselves bolted to the block. No room for movement. To make it, id have to tack weld it together on the engine, and I cant do that (useing the welder at work) so you see why i must buy it:)

  25. I run 14 psi and its a 12 second car. 19psi means nothing. Its the flow and effeciency that counts. The turbo from a R33 is not a T28 but its niether a T3, yet its a T3 bolt pattern! confusing? it gets better, Nissan bought about 5 different series of these turbochargers, from garrett, but they are all ceramic, and Ball bearing (even the GTR ones) and all the R33 ones can have on the cover, 45v1, 45v2, or 45v3 or 45v4, and I have ever heard of 45v5. What that means? Dunno... So the best way to refer to these turbos (by the way they are the biggest factory nissan turbo you can get, and pretty damn good performance too) is "a RB25DET turbo"....theres simply no better way to avoid problems. I went to get a turbo from someone once and found myself looking at a T28 from a S14. I wasnt impressed heheh:P My car is a VL with a RB25det with two of these turbos on custom manifolds. Boost hits like a mac truck at 3800rpm and gives awesome power delievery. I run 1 bar boost (approx, its actually set atm on 1.05kg/cm) and there is no problems with the ceramic wheels.
