  1. I think that you get what you pay for, and the calibration on these guages may be way off. I wouldn't bother with the AFR guage as it will still use the factory lambda sensor and not a proper wideband sensor. May be get an oil temp sensor instead, if they have one.....
  2. I Think hippy meant to high pass the 6x9's so as to have have the midrange coming from the 6x9's asnd the low pass the sub for deep bass. Can you even fit a pair of boxed 6x9's on the rear parcel shelf?
  3. Get a pedders suspension check for $14, which is good value considering it takes them almost an hour to look over all of the parts.
  4. supercheap auto have some chrome ones, and most tyre places have a selection of sizes and finishes
  5. You need the money to "do your balls" hey, perhaps you would like to clarify this point ...
  6. You Don't have to be making an arse of yourself to get defected. When I got defected I'm sure the cop was just doing it for practice, as he was really unsure how to fill out the form and made heaps of mistakes.
  7. I'm interested in the rims alone, PM me if anyone wants to take the tyres and split the cost?
  8. Does the can come with a choice of 2 sizes of fittings or just different sizes for the hose? My can came with 12mm hose fittings on the can which does not allow me to use 15mm rubber hose to connect to the 15mm fittings on the rocker covers.
  9. I have an RB25 AFM if you want to buy it...
  10. The POD filter will need to be enclosed in some type of box (CAI) A H pattern is required near the gear stick that indicates the shift pattern. Cheers
  11. What tyres are on the rims?
  12. Another way would be to remove the the Thermo housing (and while its out test the Thermo) and run the pressurised water into the radiator and through the engine. If you have access to an air compressor you could flush out the water after with the air, then reconnect everything (you will need to use a silicone gasket to reseal the thermo housing) and refil with appropriate water and collant. Cheers
  13. How much boost are you running? What engine and mods? I have Iridiums gapped at .8 and have never had any misses throughout the rev range on my RB25. I bought my plugs pregapped at .8 and they havn't moved in 12 months or gotten excessively dirty even after running a 10% toluene mix. You may have damaged the Iridium tips when you cleaned or gapped them? Try a new set of copper plugs gapped at .8, its alot cheaper that getting new coils.
  14. Nice CAI gR33ddy, did you make it or buy it? The catch can might work better in a cooler part of the engine bay to help the separation of the oil from air
  15. Provided it is fully plumbed back you should't have any legal issues, although anything non standard is considered illegal until you get an engineers certificate. You could always paint it black and say its fo the power steering or something
  16. Count me in! Can these items be picked up?
  17. Matt has the Datalogit and CRD has the Apexi software. Apparently there are more tuning options with the Apexi software.
  18. I Disabled this switch after some helpful advice from my engine tuner Matt "hitman", apparently this switch is how his skyline was broken into..... If you cut the brown wire under the door control pannel leading to the switch, you will still have the functionality to lock the passengers door, but not unlock it. Cheers
  19. price drop, $850ono Cheers, Chris

  21. I got the 550cc yellow top Nismo injectors and they are a direct fit for the stock RB25DET fuel rail. I got them through Nengun but I had to ask for them specifically. I got the fuel pressure regulator for the odd $150 as well as it was recommended by a few well known workshops. What is the spray pattern of the of the deatshwerks injectors? Is there one hole or multiple holes?
  22. Have a look at the MRT forums, Brett M doesn't have any nice things to say about octane boosters and recomments toluene. I have used both Nulon pro strength and Toluene and have not really had any ill effects, Although I have not had the plugs out or used either for longperiods of time. A $45 20L drum of toluene at about a 10% mix will last for 4 or 5 tanks where the nulon prostrength is $20 a pop. So the toluene does work out a cheaper in the long run.
  23. CRD tuned my GTS-t and I found it drove better than the previous tune. I found Jim helpful and good at explaining things, although to avoid confusion, be as specific as you can when detailing the works needed to be carried out. Lance is a bit of an A-hole though..........
  24. Radius Rod bushes, also known as castor rod bushes , will effect the feedback you feel through the steering wheel and tyre wear. I had my front pair replaced with adjustable urethane bushes from pedders for a around $350. Cheers
