I have 265/35/18 AD08s on 18x9.5+12 on my 32 and the only think that rubs is the forward face of the front wheels on the guard liner occasionally. -

I'm a shit house driver and I do 2:00 flat around PI with 300kw so you should be able to dip into the 1:50's pretty easily.

I've driven to PI from the west on E85 with only 3 jerry's n raced all day. Fill up in Cranbourne, race all day and then stop at Cranbourne again on the way home.

I run a 4 point harness with my pro 2000's and have no issue with sliding out. I wouldn't bother unless it's necessary. -

Yep, the fine is higher for having plates on while using a permit as opposed to no plates. You can only drive between 7am-7pm and only for the purpose of moving the car or getting stuff done to it.
