  1. Anyone know what the Quantas lounge is like at Tulla? Get to test it out on Saturday. 1st time in any lounge. Bring on the free booze!
  2. Very interested to see what times this thing cuts at Winton. I take it you're sticking with the 17psi E85 tune for the track?
  3. Looks awesome so far. Good job on having a crack at everything yourself.
  4. Ah yep, had that issue before.
  5. Can't wait to see the results of this thing.
  6. Drove past the bloke that was driving that thing on Saturday. He had a cop uniform on and there was a highway patrol car 2 cars behind him.
  7. What's making you go open class instead of club sprint?
  8. ^That's probably what I'd go with too if I had the coin. More than enough for a spirited drive through the hills. Chuck in some high temp fluid and away you go.
  9. On the street the standard brakes were more than enough and I never ran out but as soon as I started doing track work it was cooking the A1 RM's. Especially at Winton. If you don't intend on doing track days then your factory brakes will be fine. Just stick some high temp fluid in and a pad of your choice. On the street, any half decent pad should do the trick as you'll never get them hot enough to fade. These are what I now run for reference but are unnecessary for street use. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AP-Racing-6-Pot-Brake-Kit-NISSAN-SKYLINE-BNR34-GTR-Front-343mm-BLACK-/150754827505?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2319b01cf1
  10. I ran A1RM's on my standard brakes and the were shit but now they're more than enough on my AP's.
  11. Just the AD08's I don't think there is too much difference between them. I generally drive with the window's down as I don't have aircon. The noise is awesome but sometimes it draws some unwanted attention and can be a pain on long trips.
  12. 265/35/18 AD08's checking in. Had them on my 32 for about 6 months or so now. Plenty of traction and very progressive. Wet grip is a lot better than my KU36's and road noise I'm not sure as the exhaust is too loud.
  13. Tried stalling up with the handbrake to bring on some boost?
  14. I'm surprised this isn't something the VL guys can buy off the shelf already haha.
  15. That's gonna be fun to clean up
  16. Haha was thinking the same thing. There is a bar, it is expensive but it doesn't hurt to have a couple.
  17. No worries, thanks for all the tips. Cafe Grove is where I stopped last year so might check out Cafe Elmwood for something different. Now it's time to knock off work and clock on the cans. See ya up there boys.
  18. Cheers mate, I'm picking someone up in Wadonga so I'll be sitting down for a proper breaky and will check out one of the joints you listed
  19. That'd be a comfortable 8 hours.
  20. Something to line the stomach before I hit the Jack's and someone else hops in the drivers seat.
  21. Hey Dan, I'm popping into Wodonga for breaky on the way up tomorrow. recommend anywhere?
  22. I run 356mm AP's on the front with A1RM pads and standard callipers on the rear with Bendix generals atm and there are no issues.
  23. That is awesome. Imagine what it's like on 5psi hahaha
