  1. I've been running E85 in my car for almost 3 years now without an issue. The longest the car sits is probably 3 weeks where it's starts without an issue. Always warmed up before a thrashing. I dump the oil every 2-3 track days (roughly 6 months). The catch can always has a milky residue in it and so does the oil sometimes but it's never been an issue. Still running the same fuel filter which I know is a bad idea but I can't get the old one out so I have a new one sitting there for when I take it back to Racepace.
  2. As everyone else has said. If only aiming for a responsive 300kw, -7's or -9's are the way to go. -9's being a bit more expensive. I'm making 325kw on -7's with cam gears (standard cams) and a set of dump pipes. If you're on a budget that's all you need.
  3. I always thought the same too. As far as I was aware the 2010 had a lot less transmission issues.
  4. If the OP is only after standard replacement shocks for a daily that doesn't intend on doing anything special with the car then I'd just go with the KYB's. You could try these if you wanted to slap something in quickly. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R34-Kyb-Suspension-/141144176950?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20dcd93936&_uhb=1
  5. Grab a master cylinder stopper to help with the brake squishyness if you haven't already got one. Power wise, if you didn't want to go the full 25 swap, do a comp test on your motor to see if it's healthy and wack a bigger turbo on it. It will never match a 25 though haha.
  6. Try Pedders in South Melbourne, you might not get much of a discount but at least they won't try to rip you off and will be of more assistance. Or just grab a set of BC's and ask for some assistance on here to slap em in in an afternoon.
  7. I inquired about pre nups when I bought my place but was then advised that there is still ways around it.
  8. LOL @ No.19 for boys names
  9. What spring rates do you run on the track and how do they feel on the street?
  10. I live like a bum now that I have my own joint. No overtime is a killer.
  11. Is there a certain reason you're doing this?
  12. Turbo for that GATE
  13. Did you buy that thing recently?
  14. The bloke that works at South Melbourne Pedders owns that thing. It should be a legit sale and is a bloody awesome car.
  15. I had the gangta lean after my 1st track day in standard seats.
  16. Are 2 of the channels bridgeable? If so, then yes that amp will be fine. Something with a little more power for the sub would be better but it will work without an issue.
  17. Don't bother with coilovers if you want to run decent times down the 1/4 and drive it on the street. Just replace your old shocks or leave them if they're fine. Pineapple's are a good idea and will make the rear feel a little more solid.
  18. I guess the humidity wouldn't help. My gauge always sits in the middle but the gauge on the dash is very vague. My water temp gauge sits anywhere between 75 and 85 degrees depending on what I'm doing.
  19. I hope this think makes production.
  20. Wish this was in Vic so I could make it.
  21. Go the 245's on the front mate, you shouldn't have any issues. If you want to knock off some under steer, grab some stickier tyres and maybe dial in a little more camber if you can which will also help with guard clearance.
  22. Same here, best build in the country but I'm still not a big fan of the tail lights and prefer the factory stuff.
  23. If we can do track days when it's 30 degrees with the standard fan and shroud then I wouldn't think you'd have an issue. What are your temp issues at the moment?
  24. What speeds are you guys getting when you download off somewhere like u torrent?
