    I'd keep my stock wheel if it wasn't rooted but I can buy 3 after market wheels for the price it will cost to get re trimmed.

    If my 300kw with 265 AD08 street tyres is fine on the track then you will have no issue with 255 NT01's.

    You'll most definitely appreciate the transfer case mod. Running with new tyres at Winton on the weekend made it more apparent just how slow the 4WD system is from factory. Wheel spin city!

    I had the same issue with my XR6 Turbo when I swapped the speakers out. Similar to the ones you used. I'm guessing it's because the factory speakers don't need as much power but even when I installed an aftermarket headunit they didn't produce as much bass as the factory speakers. They were a lot clearer though and handles much more power. An amp should make a pretty big difference to them.

    Have you thought about giving Chequered Tuning a call? I'd also give Hypergear a call and have a quick chat. You might be surprised at what you can do with an internally gated low mount on 98.

    Just stick with the 356mm D2's on the fron and if you really need them grab a set of 330's for the rear. If you do a bit of searching on here you'll find plenty of great reviews on them. I'm pretty sure Import Monster still sell them so give them a try.

    4x 245/35/18 Kumho KU36's. Tyre's have done a fair few heat cycles so not going to be the best on the track but still better than most average street tyres. Plenty of tread left as per pics. Items located Melbourne Western suburbs. $450.

    Have you considered something with an RB25 in it? I know it's no GTR but much cheaper to race. I don't think I could get rid of my GTR now as I love it but it's not a cheap car to mod.
