  1. I'd be going with what Xklaba said after you sort your fuel system. Turbo technology is a lot better these days and it shouldn't be too hard to find a more responsive turbo to bolt in the T78's place.
  2. Where are these pics at?
  3. When I had my XR6 Turbo with pod in the guard I sucked a lot of water in one day and the car stalled. I got all the water out and let it sit over night. I started it the next day and it ran a little rough but eventually dried up.
  4. I bought them off a member on here but you can get them from Traction Tyres, Rowville. Ask for Shane, tell him you're from SAU 9764 2811
  5. Nice car mate. How was the trip in a GTR? Any issues with fuel?
  6. Well there ya go. It seems a lot of people have the same opinion on the R888's these days. I just bought a set of AD08's n can't wait to try them out.
  7. Street drags are on tomorrow night. $65 entry. I'm thinking about heading there.
  8. What issues are likely to be caused with the solid shifter bushing? I have one at home that I haven't installed yet.
  9. Yeah I only posted R888 since it's for an MX5. I don't think you'd see a GTR running 195/50/15 haha.
  10. What about r888? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-X-NEW-195-50-15-TOYO-R888-SEMI-SLICK-RACE-TYRES-L-K-/360859286888?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5404e3bd68&_uhb=1
  11. Bargain!
  12. Is it $100 a bottle?
  13. It's a bit rough but an awesome drive. Great views once you get to the top. Looking forward to it. It'll be the 1st time I've taken the car down the GOR since I bought it.
  14. Shit that's good for standard actuators. I can't believe they still hold boost that well.
  15. Livin the dream, You didn't go down Wild Dog Road, just before the entrance to Apollo Bay did you? Love that Road. Also, are you planning on coming on the SAU Apollo Bay Cruise in a couple of weeks?
  16. What actuators are you running?
  17. I own a GTR and used to own an XR6. I'd buy another one too.
  18. Who told you that? You could always stick some E85 in it for more mid range but other than that there's not much you can do without stroking it.
  19. I live in Altona Meadows and for the 25 years I've been here I've had my car broken into once. I wouldn't say it's dodgy but just like any other suburb there is always a chance.
  20. Just buy them and see what happens
  21. I'd be slapping a decent set of new tyres on the front and getting a wheel alignment.
  22. Those things will take 400kw+ on a stock bottom end.
  23. I remember standing in pit lane watching that happen Martin. That was at the start of the 1st day wasn't it?
  24. I'm too lazy to fix. Plus it means you don't have to accelerate to take off and the car never stalls. Bitches love it when I idle through the little streets with cafes n shit and you can hear it coming from a km away.
  25. No air leaks. It's meant to have that paste crap around the throttle bodies to help them seal but when I 1st built the motor I didn't know what it was and cleaned it off.
